The food was very good and their brewed beer was excellent. Service not good. Sat at table 15 min before server even approached and said he'd be with us shortly. 10 min later, he came back from drink orders. 10 min later, we had our...waters then even longer for actual drinks. Server disappeared several times for 15+ minutes. Several tables arrived after us, and ordered, ate, left before we even got our food. 1hr 50m is way too long for burgers at a brewpub.More

We ate dinner at Granite City last night. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. Overall, this restaurant has really gone down hill. They were out of two of their featured craft beers. Cheap paper napkins. What happened to nice cloth napkins? Please don’t tell...me it’s because of Covid. I asked for salt and pepper and was given little paper packets like I get at McDonalds. I’m really tired of businesses cutting corners and blaming Covid. Give me a nice dining experience.More

We went on a Sunday for lunch. Apparently there was a well attended all you can drink brunch going on, but we opted to sit at the bar. They had one bartender trying to service the 200 table patrons and the bar, drinks were hard...to come by which is surprising when a draft beer is $8 and a Kettle/Cran $12.50. We ordered food which came out 45 minutes later. Bland and common, for $16 each. Chik Fil A has a better chicken sandwich. $90 tab, not including tip for a couple drinks each and 2 average sandwiches. FAR better choices in the area. We won't be back.More

Very nice, relaxed & comfortable atmosphere. Great food selection. I have been here a few times and the food has always been excellent. Not a beer drinker but have enjoyed a few fun cocktails. Love the mini dessert, they are the perfect size to end...the meal.More

Had a large group of people for a business type dinner. They put us in a decent sized private room. Our waitress was amazing and kept up with the 16 of us. The food was great. My rib eye was cooked perfectly.

This is a wonderful brunch. Great food and atmosphere. Can’t beat the price either for a bunch of friends to have the opportunity to meet up. Kids friendly too. Cotton candy and donuts made their day.

I went to Granite City Food & Brewery in Naperville with my family on a busy Saturday night. It's located in an entertainment district that I would describe as a group of strip malls except there are no stores - it's just restaurants clustered together...off the office park and university satellite campus corridor along Diehl Road. A long fence separates its parking lot from that of Maggiano's Little Italy, so if you're approaching from the east look for the gap in the fence. We had to sit at one of the high tables off the bar or we would have had to wait at least 30 minutes to be seated and I later heard another fellow make the same comment to his party. The hostess who helped us was proactive about asking if someone could fetch us a booster seat for my youngest niece. The food is very good and our waiter was attentive. I would say you should expect to spend $15-$25 per person on the entree before you start adding on alcohol, an appetizer, dessert, tax, and tip. I appreciated one touch that when my mother ordered tea, the waiter brought out a box, opened the top, and helped her choose a flavor. If you're looking for something with low calories, I recommend the Mediterranean Chop Salad. It has too many cherry tomatoes for my taste, but the chicken and bacon were very good, and the giardiniera really added something. One of my brothers had the Bock & Cheese Pasta, which consists of Bennie Bock cheese sauce on a bed of penne pasta and chicken breast with toasted bacon crumbs, which was essentially an adult version of macaroni & cheese, and it was also very good. My elder niece had Chicken Bites off the children's menu, which consisted of lightly breaded and fried chicken tenders, and was a big hit with her. The desserts are very rich. Six of us shared two desserts. Firstly, there was the As Big As Your Head Cookie. This turned out to be a large chocolate chip cookie - one of the best I've tasted anywhere - topped by a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Secondly, there a slice of Monster Chocolate Cake. This turned out to be a large slice of chocolate cake topped by caramel sauce, whipped cream, and a slice of strawberry. These desserts were designed so a single very hungry gourmand could eat the whole thing, but really they're supposed to be shared by a couple or a group of relatives (or maybe really close friends), but be forewarned you will only be willing to share then with people you love.More

Got out of a late movie, we were the only ones in the parking lot thought they are almost closing... they were and they treated us as if they had no where to go! Restaurant clean, service great! I ordered the Asian salad which is...fresh, tasty, crunchy and filling you will take some home! It has cabbage, chicken, peanut sauce done perfect. Hubs had this Italian low carb dish it was so tasty and delicious I tried some. Zucchini noodles, light taste with a bit of heat tomato sauce we even ordered a cocktail!More

Nice private room accommodating about 60 guests. Service and food of highest quality. Good value. We had a special celebration at G C the night before the wedding. Booked it sight unseen so we were not sure what to expect. Home run!
