Bad experience. Never again. Manager was disrespectful, not helpful and,to top it off, there was hair in our food. Please avoid, not only because it’s a health concern but also the rude personnel.

Taste is off the hook! Ordered some takeout here from GrubHub to pickup and food was ready on time and excellent. Huge portions of meat and cheese in the tacos and quesadillas. Great bang for your buck.
I don’t know why there are bad reviews. The waiter Leo was wonderful, the food was authentic and tasty, and the price is just fine. I would go again in a heartbeat!
Service slow, Food was disappointing. and management seemed clueless on how to handle things and how to give a good experience. Will not be back ever.
The service is pretty good, the food is good, but everything is highly priced. My wife ordered a shrimp fajita; it was pretty good but it cost 20 dollars! A fajita dish for one person for $20??? We are not coming back, of course!
Not our first choice but not too many places open on Easter Sunday. The place is large and family oriented with a life-size steel bull in the lobby for kids to climb and a mariachi band — they asked if we wanted to be serenaded...and we declined; they were graceful about leaving us alone and not pestering. The food is standard Mexican fare, not bad but not impressive. Service was average.More
This place looks fun with the glowing giant palm trees out front and the life sized bull inside. We went there around 6:30 pm on a Friday night and got in without a wait, there were plenty of empty tables but they sat us right...by a very loud, raucous, large party. Even though they weren't busy and our waiter only appeared to have one other table, the service was not impressive. The water and chips (delegated to a bus boy or assistant server) didn't arrive until after the bar order arrived. Two people at our table ordered water with a lemon, the assistant brought the waters, chips and salsa, and even though the lemons were on his tray, he walked away with them. He did return shortly, but did not provide straws. We ordered guacamole for the chips, and the waiter brought the two avocado halves of one avocado with the onions, cilantro, peppers and citrus to make it table side; he never mentioned the current 'market price' of $17.90 (local grocery stores were selling avocados 10 for $7, so it's not like they were having some kind of shortage.) I ordered a taco salad with salsa for dressing, which was not brought out with my salad. Someone else at out table requested more chips and salsa, so I figured I could just use that but the waiter was slow in getting it and when he finally had it in hand and on the way, the other table stopped him with a question about their bill (they probably ordered guacamole!). So he set our chips and salsa down on a garbage can or something, took their bill, brought it back, explained the charges and how he had rung up their card blah blah blah. By the time the salsa arrived, set at the other end of the table by the other guest, my salad was mostly gone. The food was decent but I would not go back--Mexican food is not that hard to find and I don't need to get robbed for a mediocre bowl of guacamole which can be found anywhere; Las Palmas is certainly not worth the price.More
First visit since the previous owners many years ago. Had good service, food was tasty, no major complaints. Plenty of parking and a good out of the way spot for this get together.
Perfect party of 100 friends & family. Great, plentiful food, our own room and wait staff. Reasonably priced too. Highly recommend.
We were so happy to see Las Palmas return to Mundelein since we used to enjoy it so much in the past. We went on a weekday and were surprised it wasn't more crowded. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. I ordered the chicken...fajitas and marveled at the size of the dish. Seriously, I could have fed three people easily with the amount of food they had on the platter. The veggies were cooked perfectly and the chicken was tender and well seasoned. Needless to say, I brought a lot of it home and enjoyed it the next day with my daughter. My husband enjoyed a Combo Meal with a delicious Tostada, Enchilada, and Taco. The prices for the food and drinks were highly reasonable and our waitress was so pleasant, we will be sure to return again.More
