Yeah, it's not Germany, but if you are in Moline and want some authentic food, this is the place. Seriously, if you can get 4/5 German food in IL, you have to worship this place. Grew up with German grandparents cooking for me, and this is where I go to renew my soul. Please add Oxtail soup :)

We had a great dinner here passing through Moline. We loved everything we ate--several types of wurst, beer (the Konig Ludwig by recommendation), apple strudel for dessert, etc. The red cabbage was delicious! I hadn't had wurst with curry ketchup in ages and was very happy to find it here ('Berliner style'). With the fun atmosphere and our friendly server,... More

I have only drank here. However they have a large beer menu and a full stocked bar. The staff can mix any drink and they do have drink specials. They have a large beer garden which is fun as live music is played there. I have yet to eat there as I come too late for the kitchen, however I... More

Food was okay but was disappointed since I have lived In Germany. Definitely will not get their German potato salad again. Not at all what I have had. Brats are good and schnitzel is ok.

Enjoyed a nice German meal with some business friends. The food was authentic German and we had a good time. Our service was pretty good and the restaurant was busy. The prices were acceptable, and the food quality was good. Having been to Germany, it was very nice and similar to places there.

When traveling on Interstate 80 we frequently stop at the Le Claire location and we always have great service and the food never disappoints. The Moline location had a beer garden which was cool and the atmosphere was a little older, more unique. We love Bier Stube!

We ordered our drinks after asking the waitress about the special with $2 domestic bottles. We ordered a chicken sandwich and wiener schnitzel. Definitely too expensive for the portion size. Then when we got our bill, the beer was $3.50. She said that we didn't order the right kind even though we asked. Unfortunately, will not be going back.

Had dinner there on a Thursday night with a five year old. While they have a cool area with dark booths and a great beer garden, those areas were empty, so we sat in the bar. Service was fantastic. Can't beat a sausage platter special for $8. The sides were excellent... awesome kraut, spaetzel and green beans with bacon!!! Good... More
