Atmosphere, ok, service, ok, food, ok, price, ok. Stopped in because we were hungry and it was there in front of us. Salsa was too hot for our tastes, the tiny bowl of tortilla chips was free, but hardly enough if we were really eating chips now. Prices were a little higher than other Mexican restaurants in the area, but... More

We used to eat here once or twice a week. This was years ago. We have gone maybe three times in the past year. Most recent visits were not good. portions smaller, service is horrible. the family owned business and their staff is not friendly, and borders on downright rude. the owner, his wife, and his one daughter (I assume... Folks, if you get Mexican food in The Q.C.'s, outside of the chains, it is going to be great. It has to be. The Hispanic community would not support them and the constitute too big a portion of our area to be ignored. Habanero 's is one of the three greatest spin offs after the death of the owner of... Stopped on a trip to the mall Christmas shopping with the wife. Staff was very friendly and did a very good job. Food was good and would go back while in the area.

After being there over more than 50, maybe even 100 times, this place was my favorite Mexican in the area. However, something has changed with the food, and I am guessing it is the chef. Seasoning is not near as good anymore. Hopefully they get back whomever they lost in the kitchen.

Best Mexican restaurant in the Quad Cities. Don't let the ugly little building or decoration fool you! This place has amazing, affordable dishes! The waiters are always friendly..not overly, annoyingly, tip-seekingly friendly, but good. The salsa is hot and delicious! The chips, while a bit sparse, are crunchy and warm. The highlight is the way they grill their meat (chicken... More

While visiting family in the Quad Cities, my husband and I had occasion to have dinner at Habanero's along with out nephew and my stepson. The staff was very friendly. The decor is pretty standard for a Mexican restaurant and the atmosphere is pleasant. There are Mexican sodas lining the bar, tempting you with their fun colors. Our family has... More
