Most of the food was burned, shrimp, filet and calamari were the worst! Brought it to the waiter's attention and there was no offer to do anything about it. Then was presented with an $82 bill for two people. They had put a mandatory gratuity...on the bill. Ridiculous! Stay away from this place.More

Sushi, vegetarian, Ginger Margarita with lime… I had the day off and wanted to try a few more items at Zuki. Loads of options and a Hibatchi section prefect for enjoying with your friends! Friendly service, fast, and clean. Today I tried the lunch special...3 rolls that came with with clear soup and I added their ginger house salad along with Ginger Margarita! I had the California roll, Sweet Potato roll and Asparagus roll. I forgot when I order the rolls I get six pieces—— a to go box for me. The Ginger Margarita was not overpowering, subtle taste of ginger- really delicious- try it! Here’s a few more bits of information- the veggie rolls were perfect, fresh and I am a huge fan of their ginger house dressing. They have loads of sushi rolls to choose from including lunch specials, dinners specials, full bar, sake, and to go options too. Ask to see their dessert menu. I’ll definitely be back with friends soon! Worth the drive and plan ahead if you come in the evening. They take reservations too.More

Following an early evening summer hike at Hickory Creek Preserves in Mokena, a friend and I decided we had a hankering for some sushi. Zuki in Mokena was the closest option so we decided to try it. We received a friendly greeting and had our...choice of tables. Edemame was placed on the table immediately. There was a nice selection of cocktails but we stuck w/water as a compliment to our healthy walk prior to dinner. We had the crab Rangoon appetizer with a delightfully tasteful sauce. The dough was nicely crisp and light. The filling was creamy but could have been a bit warmer. I ordered the American Dream special roll and my friend ordered a crispy something jalapeño roll [sorry, forgot the name]. AD roll had a dreamy taste. The roll w/jalapeño was hotter than expected, nicely crispy, but not much other flavor could be detected because it was so hot. I’d order the AD again, but not the crispy jalapeño roll. As we were leaving, one of the employees went out of her way to come our way and thanked us with very sincere sounding thanks. It made me feel good.More

When this place first opened I used to like it, but the last 3 times I had it I was disappointed each time, for various reasons, all relating to the food. Btw the seaweed salad is over 50% just plain old shaved cucumbers. I was...really disappointed. They do have 1/2 off special sushi rolls on Mondays and Tuesdays, which is what always makes me give it another try. And then I consistently regret it.More

We visited Zuki for sushi dinner on Christmas which is a tradition of ours. Service was prompt and friendly. We had a sushi and sashimi dinner for two with a couple of extra sushi rolls. Miso soup and salad was also included. Everything was tasty,...high quality, and extremely fresh, just like sushi should be. Portions we're a decent size, and prices were pretty good. All and all, it was just about a perfect visit.More

Very good service, food and hospitality. Ordered the supper for 2 which included shrimp, chicken and steak plus all the fixins. Really, way too much food to eat in one serving. Oh, btw, the saki, mmm.

Our family of 6 enjoys going to Zuki for celebrations like Birthdays and Valentines Day. The Staff is always friendly and the Hibachi chefs are top notch. We have been going to Zuki for many years and will continue our traditions.

Have been going to Zuki for years with my family on birthday occasions. I have to say, this recent visit will be our last. The quality of food has gone down emmensly, preparation of food inconsistent (ordered steak medium rare, received well done and chewy)...scallops were not completely cooked and extremely gritty, fishy and unedible, entertainment was nothing more than bland. Vegatables used to be a nice mixture, if you enjoy only onions and zuchinni you would be happy, of course if you dont mind them medium-cooked. An email was sent regarding our experience with no response. I'm sorry to say we will never visit here again if the owners care nothing to at least respond, it goes to show you that the customer means nothing. So disappointed!More

We ordered golden shrimp cooked on the grill and it was delicious. Very hearty servings, so much so that there were leftovers for the next day. A nice addition is the noodles that are included in the meals.
