It was a great day to drive in the country. Just a few minutes from Robinson, IL. Can’t wait to go back. Top notch cheeseburgers.

Actually, it’s been a while since I went to Moonshine (near Martinsville, IL), but from their website the place hasn’t changed much, which is part of the allure. It’s quite a biker destination, if you need a new place to cruise in that area. I...had never heard of the place, but when about 80 of my closest biker friends (including my Pastor) and I went on a day trip from Bloomington, Indiana, we ended up riding out by these cornfields and I’m thinking, uh, what happens for lunch? Lo and behold, there’s this old barn full of people! While we were there, a procession of antique tractors pulled up, like, what next? Turns out there was quite a line already, so be prepared to wait a while and think ahead about parking, but the servers are quick. And the food, while the menu is limited (several kinds of burgers, tenderloin, chicken, hots dogs), is very good – especially the famous Moonshine Burger, a double cheeseburger that is inexplicably simple yet delicious. They can book up a lot of food in a short time, if you’re considering a group event. (Is the place worth a ride from Indiana? Maybe not, but going across state for lunch is a biker thing!) It was a crowded but enjoyable experience and their country shop and picnic tables outside really gives you a relaxing atmosphere to eat and browse. If you can find Moonshine, go there!More

Quiet ride when we got to country roads. Store and employees were nice. While we waited for our food inside, we looked at interesting items. We ate at picnic table outside with our Service Dog. Outside toilet, clean. Would go again. FUN.

Great food and service! People are always friendly. This place has been serving great food for years. My family likes to go at least once a month. I would go every day if work didn't get in the way. Lol

This place may not be in the middle of nowhere but you could probably see it from here if it wasn't for all the tall corn. A amazing place on the corner of two country roads. Beautiful drive from Casey Illinois down some winding back...roads. I was here about noon on a Thursday and probably 30 friends eating out on the picnic tables. The bacon cheese burger was delicious. So hot fresh and juicy. Be sure to get a napkin. Enjoyed it so very much will bring my wife back if we can get here before 12:30 closing time.More

Finally got to experience my first Moonburger! You have to visit this little gem in the middle of the country side! GPS led us right to it. Others have said they had trouble finding it.

In the middle of what most refer to as "No Where", you will find down a series of country roads, past tiny quaint towns, fields, woodlands, to a crossroad with an old general store, plenty of picknic tables, consisting of a population of TWO but...lots of visitors. I went for the MoonBurger! a 1/2 pound hamburger grilled their way, some potato salad, slaw, and fixin's. They offer some of the old style soda's and you might hear someone call it "pop". The general store does sell souviners and snacks. Moonshine offers Blessings of the Bikes week and is able to manage a heafty crowd. Hours are limited and when the time is up: the grill is shut down promptly so do not be late! No indoor dining so plan on picknic style outside.More
