When we travel thru Illinois we always stop here. Small, quaint restaurant in a small strip mall type area. Yummy home cooked food and oh their meatloaf! I NEVER order meatloaf at any restaurant, ever, until my Mother ordered it and gave me a taste. It is one of their many specialties. They are also known for their wonderful pies... More

In the middle of a long travel day, we were in the area, checked online reviews, and our party of five chose to have lunch at Honeybakers. So glad we did. I would say it's a cross between a casual diner/restaurant. It is open for lunch and dinner only. You walk in and your senses are hit with the aroma... More

My family had take-out from Honeybakers. The lunches consisted of containers with BBQ piled on top of slaw on top of baked beans. Tasted ok, but not my favorite way to eat BBQ and sides.

Homemade food, good prices, great service. Desserts are awesome! It is a family owned business and they have a wonderful resturant.

We approached Honeybakers a bit early in the day and wondered if it was open. A local couple drove up and parked. We asked them if this was their first time and received a resounding "NO! And it won't be our last." WELL, they were right. The menu is from the South and when I saw that they served lunch... More

When spending time away from home we always look for non chain resturants, checked trip advisor and found Honeybakers to be just a short drive away from our motel and made the decision to check it out. It didn't take long to see why there is more positive reviews than negative reviews on this restaurant/bakery. We were seated quickly and... More

The food was very good, service great, & dessert was fantastic. The portions are generous, and prices very reasonable.

Wife and I stopped here on the way back from vacation, due to the high TA rating. We thought the food was just okay. I had the TLP (3 little pigs) and she had pulled pork sandwich. Their service was inattentive and the German chocolate like cake was a waste of money. Won't stop here next time through.

The food is very good. I especially like their Memphis style BBQ. However, it's tough to save enough room for that awesome pie and cake. The strawberry cake is wonderful, the coconut cream pie is excellent and that just scratches the surface.
