Decided to give Magnolia's another try because we feel it is important to support local businesses. My prime rib had totally no juice--asked that it be cooked medium rare...no juice on the plate or when I cut it. It was kind of tough and chewy....Lisa, the owner, struts around and loudly talks to guests and employees. We have given Magnolia's our last chance.More

We were in Macomb to attend a wedding, post Covid restrictions. Hadn’t been out to eat in a very long time. Magnolias was recommended to us by the locals. Had a reservation and was seated right away. Wait staff was very friendly but could tell...they all felt a bit overwhelmed. Our waitress forgot to put in our order for appetizers, but no big deal. My husband got the filet mignon and potatoes and really enjoyed it. I had the marinated salmon which was just okay. No dessert because we were too full. If we were ever back in the area, would probably give them one more try.More

Wonderful food. Lobster mac is very good. Cajun calamari is also very good. We were a bit disappointed that the alligator bite were no longer a choice (that was a wonderful surprise from a visit a few years ago). Of course, the steaks are excellent!...Service is still attentive.More

Fantastic!! Every time I’m in Macomb we go to Magnolia!! Love the atmosphere it’s in a great old building. The owner is unbelievably kind and welcoming! She hand delivered home made cookies to my sons fraternity house because we had to cancel our reservation because...he was quarantined! I love the steak burgers and have had many specials never disappointed!! Great cocktails too!!! Check it out if you have not!!More

This is a small quaint innocuous looking place. Looks like a local rib joint from the outside and we almost thought we had the wrong place. This a a Macon Gem. Small intimate, a home converted into a three room restaurant. We went for brunch...with a discriminating bunch of diners who have dined in fine restaurants all over Europe and North America. Our collective experience was excellent. The food was great. The staff was attentive. And the atmosphere was cozy. There is indoor and porch seating. This was a great find that will become one of our new lunch spots on our many rides through Macon.More

This is a restaurant that nickels and dimes you. Extra charge for potato with butter and sour cream; extra charge for my husband's fries!!! Extra charge for bleu cheese crumbles. Server could not explain the 39 cent charge for fries....we were not going to argue...39 cents. When you spend almost 30 dollars for an entree, you should not have to pay extra for a spoonful of sour cream. Service needs to be addressed; all three times I needed a water refill I had to ask. It will be a long time before we will return.More

Fantastic meal with group of 16. Lisa and staff did an excellent job of service and handling a large group. Everyone enjoyed their meals, from Surf n Turf special, Salmon, Stuffed Green peppers to Lemon Chicken. Great atmosphere in an historic building with a great...story behind Magnolias tie to "The Ponies".More

The menu is varied and everything is fresh made. Really good prime rib and garlic smashed potatoes. Lisa does an outstanding job of managing the resturant. Excellent service.
