They are very very helpful doing business over the phone (bought a Gift Card - we lives 1,800 miles away) We bought the Gift Card because we heard they had great coffee and fast service. Thank you ever so much for helping fill our Christmas Wish List for our son. He just loves your Coffee House

Very good coffee even if it is a little cash. Morning crowds are a bit clicking. Stranger or occasional patron may feel like they are intruding into a private scene.

Basically serves only coffee. Yes it has other drinks but the prices seem high for what you get. Found it very noisy when trying to visit with friends.

I was here about a year and a half ago. They've moved to the other side of the building now. Little more room and the coffee counter is in front instead of the back. Rustic looking, I think on purpose. Not real fancy. Coffee is good as most better than some. Usually staffed by local college kids I think. Generally... More

Staying in Macomb for two nights (from London, UK), it was great to find a proper good coffee shop. They have a massive selection of coffee flavors for those who are into that - personally, I stuck to a normal Americano which was of a very high standard and very good value for money. There is a large seating area... More

Could have been better, but for the price it was okay. A bit out dated and if they would invest a few grand, the place would be amazing. It is such a historic building anyway, why not make it look that way?

The concept of Sullivan Taylor Coffee House couldn't be any better but it sure could be a lot more if the right person was willing to spend a little time, a little money, and a little effort. It could really be a "unforgettable" college town coffee house instead of just a mediocre run of the mill one! Get some new... More

Very nice staff and a homey, scruffy atmosphere. Pastries and cold drinks, too. Good strong coffee for coffee drinkers and all the bells-and-whistles froufrou for the rest.

Perhaps what one would expect a coffee house to be like - if you're on the Berkeley campus in California. A good location in the center of this mid-western Illinois town, close enough to Chicago to know that escape to civilization is a reasonable Amtrak ride away. Coffee at the Sullivan Taylor Coffee House is acceptable and as hot as... More
