Spent a pleasant Saturday evening with friends in a cozy, comfortable setting listening to live music. We had an excellent server Lisa, who provided wine suggestions after listening to our requests. She was friendly and attentive checking to see we had wine. Ben behind the...bar was also happy to help us.More

Went here with a girlfriend last week. The wine selection is expansive and the employees are extremely well educated in their trade. The price per pour was very reasonable allowing you the opportunity to sample several different wines. Only drawback is no food. You need...something to clean your palette in between and their cheese board offering is not the answer. You can call the pizza place next door and they will deliver. A bit of an inconvenience but we made it work. Can’t wait to go back!More

Low key during the afternoon and great corners to carry on long conversation. Wait staff just the right level of attention. Snacks available for sale from a self serve cooler. Really nice cheeses and crackers to choose from, even if more than 2 people would...finishMore

We went into Broken Earth to listen to a friend who was playing live music and loved it. The wines were terrific and very reasonably priced. The bartenders were friendly and helpful. We'll be back soon! It's a bit hard to find, at the corner...of Mill and Robert Parker Coffin, but worth looking around for it. We brought in pizza from Joanie's next door.More

If you've ever been to Napa, you know the tasting rooms each have a unique style. Broken Earth is just like that. This is a comfortable and stylish place to try some really nice wines. We tried a number of wines and they all were...good. I was particularly impressed by some varietals that were new to me. The General Manager, Mark Cavins, was a wonderful host; and the servers were attentive. We can't wait to go back again.More

I just went to Broken Earth for the first time, but certainly not the last. Although Long Grove has sadly become a ghost town, this wine bar is enough to bring you here. They have a nice variety of wines--something for everyone. You can get...small tasting portions which allow you to narrow down your choices. I tasted several and settled on a glass of my favorite. They also have a variety of flights. The atmosphere is lovely. There is live music on the week-ends. There is also a very nice outdoor seating area for warmer weather. There are snacks available and you can also order from local restaurants if you'd prefer. Find your way here--you won't regret it.More

Visited twice. Staff was JUST OK. Not very knowledgeable on wine. They know the wine they're serving but that's it. One person there didn't quite know what corked was. We tried to explain bc a wine they served us was corked. She kept thinking it...had to do with how long the bottle had been opened, it has nothing to do with that. The service at the table wasn't good. Had to flag down someone pretty much all night. Our first server was leaving so she wanted us to close our tab with her & start a new one with the new server. That was obnoxious. And funny bc that was the only time she came over on her own. The GM didn't seem to have much knowledge of wine either. Again, knew what they had but that was it. Like they read note cards. We were a bit confused on what exactly qualified him to be a GM. He engaged in conversation with us but he continuously cut us off & talked about himself, at one point he even walked away. I guess we weren't talking about him at that moment. Wasn't impressed with the staff at all & wasn't impressed with the wines that much to go back.More
