This is a great old restaurant! The food was very good. Big portions. Server was a little slow but I think she was new. The manager helped me check out an buy some of their merchandise. I will definitely be back when I travel near here again.

We went to this restaurant to experience the oldest restaurant on Route 66, and discovered that the food was AMAZING! What a hidden gem of a restaurant. The owners were friendly and the desserts were amazing. We loved the Ariston Cafe!

Stopped in for lunch on the way to Springfield. Had the lunch special of pork steak, mashed potatoes and corn. It was DELICIOUS! Homemade potatoes are a must and that is what you get :) pork steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly. We also shared their homemade chocolate layer dessert that was heavenly! (They had an entire tray of desserts!!)... More

The menu has a ton of options and the food was really good! My old complaints are that our server was a little odd/rude and it seemed like the flow of the salad bar was a little scattered. Will definitely be back!

The Ariston Cafe is a Rt. 66 destination that will take you back to those days in every way. The decor is right out of the 60's. The food is superb. The service is attentive. Dessert is brought to the table for you to view and choose. Who can resist. Don't miss the opportunity to stop. One of a kind.

Ariston Cafe is a "Go to Spot" along Route 66 traveling from Chicago to the Ozarks. They have very good food, friendly staff and historic atmosphere. We have been there at least 30 times and never been disappointed. A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of being served by Kayla. She is working her way through school and is... More

I had eaten lunch at Aristion Cafe a number of times over the years so my travel mates welcomed my lunch venue recommendation. But only after they had fact-checked me on TripAdvisor. AC has an ample menu and the food is good. This is not gourmet food, but good basic food. A full salad bar is also available. Now the... More
