I visited my family here to celebrate Christmas. It was freezing windy here down to -39 degrees with wind chill, therefore, rather than go out for dinner we opted for some Italian food and pizza delivery. My local family recommended this place for take out. The meat lasagna was $18.95. I enjoyed a single slice of their 14 inch Sicilian pan thick crust pizza with sausage, pepperoni and red onion for $34. One thick Sicilian slice was quite filling for me. The thin crust 14 inch pizza was $20. I did not tase the thin crust. The garden veggie salad was $11.95. The Italian sub was $12.95. The eggplant parm sandwich was $10.95. Three chocolate cakes were $9 each or $27 for three cakes. My total takeout bill was $163 including gratuity and the $3.50 delivery charge. We agreed we will continue to order takeout food delivery from Lucca’s.

May 2023 family
As you can see from my last review we first enjoyed Italian food and pizza delivery from here around Christmas 2022. This was our second time ordering pizza from here in May 2023 for my family of four adults and two toddlers and one preschooler. We ordered one 16 inch extra thin crust cheese pizza for $28.75, which was over cooked. We also ordered one 16 inch thin crust Lucca’s Special pie for $37.95, which was more enjoyable. All slices were cut into rectangles. We ordered too much pizza, since we had lots of pizza left over. Next time we will order just one pizza pie. The Doordash delivery charge was $3.50 plus $6.32 state sales tax. My total bill was $73 excluding gratuity. They must have been busy when we ordered around 5:30 pm since it took them until 6:40 pm for Doordash to deliver our pizza. The quality of the pizzas was average at best. I thought the pizzas were overpriced considering the quality of the pizzas and one being overcooked. Last time our pizzas were not overcooked and tasted better. We may give them another try.

Food is ok, had spaghetti and meatballs, a veal dish, and pasta with chicken and broccoli, creme brulee was good, have enjoyed the pizza in the past and if returning would have that. Have to say the bread was super salty, very strange. Service was good. We sat outside, Lucca's is not really doing the social distancing/virus thing very well. Improvements can definitely be made but it if you are extremely cautious about the whole situation I would not recommend.

I live in LaGrange and enjoy Lucca’s food (carry-out). My wife and I went for a drink and I have to say had the worst bartenders that I’ve ever had in my life. We had to ask for drink menus, a drink, a second drink, our check, etc... I’ve never felt so unwelcome. At the end, the bartender literally threw the check at me. I don’t think we ever had eye contact. It’s really strange. Why should I go to a place that has passive aggressive bartenders? I would recommend going to an established bar rather than this nightmare.

Luccas' gluten-free crust is the best! My go to pizzas are a gluten-free pepperoni or the delicious chicken pesto! I've been ordering their pizza for years and have never been let down. Their gluten-free pasta is also worth trying! And I love their Cantadino salad! Anytime I've ordered I have never had a problem with cross-contamination - just make sure to let them know if you have an allergy or sensitivity.

Had stuffed mushrooms, pizza and a pasta. Likely will not return too many better options in area. It is however nice inside. Around the corner from large parking lot.

Went for dinner and had a delicious pizza and salad with a friend. Everything was very flavorful and fresh and I would definitely go back to try some pasta. I watched many plates going out to tables and everything looked delicious. The atmosphere is very warming and there are different seating areas so you aren't all in the same room with the other diners. Good for couples, families or small groups, and there is a lot of parking.

Lucca's is always great. They have wonderful happy hours and even a reverse happy hour. Appetizers are good. Love their chicken wings! Pizza good and I haven't had an entree I didn't like. Nice bar, too. In season there is seating outside

A truly nice place to meet, eat, catch up with family/friends. Great, friendly staff and ambiance. Nightly specials - delicious food. Salads to share, pasta dishes are hard to choose--all are tasty! Never have room for dessert, but I bet it's good!

My family dines in and orders out from Lucca’s often. The small bar in front is nice to have a drink while waiting for your order or the main bar is perfect for dinner and drinks. The dining room has big tables for families and the staff is great. I enjoy the pizza, pasta and the salads are amazing. There is a good cocktail menu and the Aperol Spritz is wonderful. When it’s nice out there is outside seating as well.

Really more of a 3 1/2 star place. Better than average but not quite “very good”. My meatballs were too bland for my taste, but that may be more of a personal preference. Otherwise, the pasta dishes were good, but hardly memorable. Service was very good and dishes are appropriately priced. Will probably return, but it’s not on the “must do again” list.

Had the penne pasta and my husband ordered the spaghetti. Caesar salad served was delicious - they got the dressing just right. We love garlic bread but this was covered and I mean covered, in too much cheese. Too heavy for a before dinner bite. Leave off the cheese for authentic garlic bread! My penne pasta was loaded up with baked-on cheese too. Too much. Both of us agreed the sauce was not flavorful at all.Nothing distinct about it - very watered down taste, so that was disappointing. Wine selection was very nice. Maybe we will be back to try the pizza and another Caesar salad, but no other pasta till the sauce gets some flavor! Waitress was very nice.

I ordered a large Lucca’s special pizza and an Italian sausage sandwich for delivery. The pizza arrived burned. The crust was burned and the cheese was brown on top. When I called Lucca’s Pizzeria, the woman manager I spoke to said it would be 40 minutes for a new pizza. She did offer to give a credit or refund my charge card. I said I would take the refund. I have called Lucca’s 3x’s and I have not received the credit. I realize things happen. However, Lucca’s showed poor customer service. I will not order from Lucca’s again.

My wife and I decided to go out to eat at the last minute, New Year's eve. So, we just walked over to Lucca's and even without reservations, we were seated immediately at a table right by a window, very romantic, and we could look out at the holiday lights and pedestrians enjoying the evening. The food and service are wonderful, our waitress came introduced herself, took our drinks order, two glasses of house red (very good by the way), and our dinner orders, Baked Penne Pasta and the Shrimp Arrabiata, both wonderful dishes. Warm slices of Italian bread arrived, our drinks, and our meals. It was a lovely and romantic dinner. And their Cannoli's are fantastic. Definitely, will keep going back again.

Love this little charming place, great salads, sandwiches, pizza. Delightful atmosphere decor, summertime eat outdoors and people watch Downtown LaGrange spend sometime walking the streets and enjoying the character of this vintage town and stop in at Lucca’s drink or cappuccino
