I live locally and don't understand why I don't frequent this place more often. On this visit, I played it safe and got the TIkka Masala (chicken), garlic naan and the cucumber salad. They all went so well together. I sat at the bar and had a glass of wine while I waited for my food to take home (had... More

I am so impressed by this place, that I'm literally having trouble to figure out how to start writing a review. The ambiance blew my mind. It's something I'd never expect for an Indian restaurant. So elegant and classy. I heard the owner's wife had to do a bit with the interior, and I must say, she's done an excellent... More

The food, the atmosphere and the staff are awesome. Just stopped in as a last minute and I was an excellent surprise. We were not totally up on all things Indian food and the waitress was very attentive in providing answers to our questions. The food. Was excellent. Totally recommend and will go there again.

Restaurant came highly recommended so our party of 4 tried and loved it!! We all had lamb; some in tikka masala & some vindaloo. Lamb tacos a little too spicy for us but samosas perfect. Garlic naan rocked but never got 2nd order we placed. Finally got some to go after asking 2 more times. Never got the basmati we... More

It's always amazing to see a chef/restaurant break barriers and elevate a cuisine from comfort , familiar to something that opens your mind to something new. Kama Bistro is just that!! Take your classic Indian food and transform it to something magical. I would not recommend this place to anybody is not own to trying new flavor profiles. You will... More

My wife ordered briani, typical indian rice dish with meat and spices. Food was horrible, we could not eat it due to extreme spice in it (There were tons of green chilis in it) despite the fact that she specified she wanted to have it medium spicy. On top of it, it was very oily, and we could not taste... More

We're Indian food devotees and we live in La Grange so we're stuck with this place, there's no where else around. The food is sometimes OK, often-times prepared not according to our requests and sometimes just mediocre or lousy. Dine in? Forget it. They are so often completely overwhelmed, under-staffed, SOMETHING, or maybe they just don't know their business. When... More

Love this place - it's quiet, the servers are kind and helpful and the food delicious, even if you are new to Indian food. The staff will help you find something you will like. Start with the Naan bread and chicken tikka - hot and delicious!

Review written after our 3rd visit. Good variety of tasty dishes. Service was good. Courses come out of kitchen piece-meal fashion (we ordered several appetizers along with main courses) Would have liked to have seen the appetizers and Naan come out together. Food prices are reasonable, the bar prices are not, $14 for a rum and coke that was all... More
