Absolutely amazing place. The best view I've ever seen at a British Pub! The pulled pork sandwich was perhaps the best pulled pork sandwich I have ever eaten. Friendly staff, quick service, good drinks, and good food, what else could you ask for? Definitely worth...More

We visited here after taking part in the WaterAid Mountain Challenge. Pub had a great 'apres walk' atmosphere for all. Food was great and good value. I would definitely return if I am in the area again.

Only had food - we did not stay there. Creative dishes that were healthy and delicious..or other options if you prefer. Lovely hiking environment with outdoor fire and snacks you could purchase to take on a hike. Quick and fun.

Great idea the way this place approaches its menu. The outdoor eating area is brilliant but with a menu that is so small it left me wondering what can I make do with. With respect to the menu the food and ingredients looked very good...More

The place appears to have been given a re- vamp and is much more comfortable and pleasant both inside and out with natural wood carved benches and picnic tables. There is also a shaded area next door where you can eat your own picnic -...More

Yes I'm pretty sure of it! When we were there, there were lot of dogs just coming back from a long walk! There's not many places in the Lakes that won't allow dogs!
