Dined here 3 times while staying at the hotel. Service is slow to start nut pretty good. Salad was brown and slimy, some entrees too salty. Gazpacho soup tasteless. Wine list is good. Lobster bisque is excellent. Overpriced for the value.

Summer Brussel sprout appetizer was close to inedible. I sent them back. Caprese salad was much better.

We had a great time and wonderful food and service. We had the crab claws for an appetizer and they were plentiful and delicious. Our entrees were the seafood capellini and the swordfish. Excellent. Our server Joan was wonderful.

It was a nice dinner. the food was good, and the service was very nice. the atmosphere was very elegant and comfortable too. I would say it was a little on the pricey side for the food they offered.

I read the reviews before we went due to the fact the restaurant is pricey. Most dishes are alacart so,I was expecting a little higher quality. My husbands steak was good according to him but his steak fries hard and overcooked my filet tips in...More

This place has some pretty decent fine dining, no matter what your palate is craving. We had some of the best service I've had the pleasure of experiencing as well. We will be back the next time we're in the area.

During my recent visit, I dined alone at the Reserve. I heartily recommend the bacon crusted scallops with Israeli couscous for an appetizer; wonderful combination of flavors and melt-in-your-mouth scallops. The house salad (greens with fresh berries, candied pecans, Manchego cheese) would have been better...More

The meatloaf served to my wife bears no description. Solid, nondescript taste. My steak was OK at best and the potato wedges were obviously reheated and totally dried out.

We had a wonderful dinner at The Reserve while staying over a few days at Harrah's. It's very elegant, with 1940's music playing in the background and a very friendly attentive staff. We both ordered the Lobster Bisque, which was excellent with big chunks of...More

We ate at the Reserve while staying at Harrah's. We had a wonderful waitress, who started out slow, but got better. For appetizers we had the Lobster Tempura, 2 pieces for $16 and scallops, 3 pieces for $15. Luckily for me, it was half price...More

The Reserve Steakhouse IS within the Casino property. No need to battle harsh weather. The property also has a wonderful martini bar right outside of The Reserve, and there is a very nice hotel, as well. And, the casino... More

Sink your teeth into something special at The Reserve, the Harrah's Joliet fine dining restaurant where steakhouse burgers and meatloaf stand alongside pasta dishes and traditional steak and seafood entrees.Start your evening with an appetizer like house bacon, jumbo lump crab cakes or lobster bisque - and then grab your fork and knife and cut into a boneless or bone-in ribeye, filet or New York strip. But be sure to save room for famous desserts like tiramisu, fruit crepes or pineapple upside down cake.
