We ordered grilled eggplant which had a lot of garlic so be careful if you don’t like garlic, a huge Panaretos salad and green beans with tomato saucei would suggest to. Avoid the rose...wine. Good for lunch or dinner under the square shade at Potamos village. Do not miss the appetizers (sausage, pies etc). Super mousakas and lamp as well as burger. Everything is tasty and in huge portions.

We literally waited to pay while people were turned away. Terrible service. A mix up with our main course. And men not much older than boys as waiters who do not know what they are doing
It seemed promising... But we were wrong. Food quality was really bad. House white wine was awful - not possible to drink it. When we complained, they have replaced it for rosé wine with same bad quality. The only worth of eating was "dakos". This...restaurant needs serious improvement. Prices are not high, but yet this does not justify bad food quality. Service was ok.More
In Potamos.. the restaurant is typical and familiar, the tzatziki excellent and the special vegetables, on Friday you dine accompanied by a live greek music .. very kind waiters...and good prices ..
We ate 4 people on a Saturday afternoon but quality was really low and taste not good at all. They served us complimentary fruit at the end of our dinner which was 50-80 gr of water melon for 4 people which was a joke. Price...was a very good 22eur/person which was on the very high side for the quality and what we ate. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT THERE ARE PLENTY OTHER IN THE AREA!!!More
There are several restaurants around the small square of the village Potamos in Kythera island.The best known and the best in its kind is the restaurant "Panaretos". Hands down the Best restaurant on kithira. Serves a majority of its own organically grown produce including its own goat and most vegetables. The cooking is professional and the restaurant also caters for many weddings and functions across the island. The staff are courteous and...efficient. A must try when on kithira.More

Nice local restaurant. Try the pita Panaretos that is one of their specials . I think it is the modern version of a Greek hamburger. It is huge so be hungry enough to finish it...
