Traditional Greek tavern with many local dishes. Staff were very friendly. We ordered grilled eggplant which had a lot of garlic so be careful if you don’t like garlic, a huge Panaretos salad and green beans with tomato saucei would suggest to. Avoid the rose wine. It tasted more like retsina. In general we enjoyed our dinner

The small tables on the square of Potamos village (in the center of the island) under the coolness of the trees. Schnitzel, steaks, braised beef, potatoes, tzatziki, kaltsounia all well cooked and delicious. The waiters are polite and smiling. The service is quick. We ate there better than the whole island and at the most reasonable prices on the island, especially us who are a family. If we ever come back to Kythira, we will definitely go there again!

Really good food!! The salad was huge, the skiufichta with the combined excellence and the goat's honey. The portions are big, the prices are very good and the raw ingredients of the food are fresh and of high quality!!! I highly recommend

The bad thing about the restaurants that are recommended in all the guides is that, probably because of their mass, they lose their identity and offer dishes of a mass nature. One of the same while you would expect more local color and diversity in their proposals .. we got tortellini with apaki , veal giuvecchi and potato salad .. all very average .. especially the potato salad a complete disappointment .. but the mizithropitaki were very good . And their service is also good!

Impossible to go to dinner with family in the only Greek tavern in Potamos, supposedly full every evening (the village is in the middle of the island so only locals). Impossible to book for the same day (or even several days in advance), no desire to be accommodating. Obviously, they don't like tourists. Unworthy of Greece!

Good for lunch or dinner under the square shade at Potamos village. Do not miss the appetizers (sausage, pies etc). Super mousakas and lamp as well as burger. Everything is tasty and in huge portions.

This particular shop is a very good choice! Quality food, good portions and reasonable prices. €47 three portions of food, salad and three beers, an orange juice. It is located in the square of the beautiful village of Potamos and is also suitable for children. Very good service and professionalism from the service guys. It is worth a visit.

On the menu “ chef beef pie” it was pita bread on the bottom 2 beef mince patties, fries and lashings of some kind of sauce! Sorry guys that’s not a pie ! Rubbish

We were a group of friends. Eggplant smoked was delicious.
French fries great. Porc scnitzel was good. Prawns meager pkate. Lamb was delicious but heavy. I had the bifteki which was dry but yummy.
Waiters very nice.

We had dinner here and the food was very good. We tried the kalitsoynia, the sausages, the goat and some courgette flowers stuffed with myzithra and they were all very decent. It can get very busy so book ahead.

This restaurant has an amazing atmosphere. The staff were friendly. I loved the grilled meatballs (bifkakia), souvlaki and chips. The souvlaki and chips were the best I tasted on Kythera. I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. I will definitely go back when I go back to Kythera.

We booked a table on the day of the fair to be as close to the festivities. The spot was indeed really nice and the service was quick and efficient.
We had heard good things about the restaurant’s menu so we went there with great expectations. Although the place might indeed be good, the day we went, we did not enjoy any of the dishes. At least the beer and the music were great!
