A popular dining place. Busy when we visited mid week and it would pay to book. Food of a very good standard. Staff efficient. Limited parking across the road from the pub.

Visited this pub recently, a traditional local pub. We were made to feel very welcome. The pie was delightful and the St Austell ales were awesome, I was given a tasting sample to find my preferred ale for the evening. Enjoyable evening

A nice traditional pub in the centre of a lovely village. Good food selection. Lots of homemade specials like chicken curry, steak pie, lasagne. The children liked the 'build a burger' option with choices of burger, cheese, sauces, extras. They were very helpful catering for...More

Excellent food, friendly staff. 4 stars because it's not perfect - toilets a big grubby, and beer garden unloved. Don't let that stop you though, it's a good local pub, better than most.

Booked table for dinner for Saturday night. Pub was busy, ciders and ales were great, food selection and presentation was also great. Landlord welcoming and helpful. Subsequently had dinner there 4 out of 5 days. And the bonus was a brilliant pub quiz with questions...More

A warm welcome awaits everyone at this traditional family run pub nestled close to the World Heritage Site of the Luxulyan Valley and the Eden project. Enjoy a walk along The Saints Way and call in for quality, locally sourced, home cooked food, all prepared on the premises. We are Cask Marque and Cask Ale accredited, serving a selection of St Austell ales, wines and spirits. There is a large covered space at the rear ideal for smokers and also a small beer garden. We are more than dog friendly, free treats from the bar are compulsory. Booking is advised at busy times. Check our Facebook page as we have many top Cornish musicians who perform monthly at our Cornish Music night where everyone is welcome to join in, also check out our regular Saturday night live bands. Food is served daily at lunchtime 12:00hrs-14:30hrs and evening 18:00hrs-20:00hrs
