We stopped after seeing signs about Best Thing I Ever Ate on the interstate. Food was good. Meringue on my lemon meringue pie was huge. Not sure it was best ever but its worth getting off the highway and enjoying a good meal.

We accidently got off of I-70 at exit 30 and spotted this restaurant with a full parking lot. This usually means good food, so we stopped for lunch. My chicken and dressing was fantastic and my husband's open faced roast beef sandwich was perfect. The...More

It has been years since we have been here, and we missed the home cooking this cafe offers. Everything is served family style, so all main courses come with the same great number of sides. And the food is from heaven! The sides are sweet...More

What a surprising little nugget. Shrouded behind what looks like a dated cafe is a wonderful restaurant. The meals were of the highest quality home cook style quisene backed up by exceptional value. The chicken breast comes highly recommended!

Delicious pie. Wonderful service. Scrub-a-dub clean. Visited after seeing highway billboard while road tripping. Glad we did. Only wish they had pie teeshirts!

I definitely enjoyed the meal at this cozy diner. My husband had open faced roast beef and I enjoyed the pork loin. The service was excellent! They have 2 bathroom stalls with decent space Jim

Stopped for the foot high pies. They are out of this world. The meatloaf was phenomenal. I highly recommend it as we were just driving through and didn't know what to expect.

Got a couple of pies there to take to a family dinner. 2 pies cost over $30. Bland and lackluster. Height is from way too much meringue. Samsclub has better tasting pies(and cheaper)
