I met a Bible group at this restaurant for dinner and a business meeting. We were seating in a large room with a door for privacy. The service was really good. Food was good too! We had 20 +/- in our group. We got our food quickly and price was very reasonable.

You know how your hometown pizza is always the best???? Mackies should be everybody's home town pizza!!! Even though we live 80 miles away now, we return to get our Mackies fix!!! The pizza has a paper thin crispy crust, not too much sauce, and some type of amazing seasoning. Don't bother with salad... Go straight for the pizza!!!

If you like the thin crust pizza then you will love Mackies! It is like the lobster of pizzas, as my son calls it. It is a locals favorite. It is a great place for a group of people for a meeting or after ball game hang out. They have a nice separate room. Staff is always nice & helpful.... More

Great pizza and cheese sticks. Really well known and popular, but on the pricey side. Definitely worth stopping in

If you grew up here then this is the pizza that all others are measured by. Thin crust is cracker thin and seasoned right but the deep dish is where it's at. Sandwiches are delish also.

We live in Golconda which is about 40 minutes away. However, when we get the craving to out for pizza this is where we go. They have the best thin crust around, and the best cheese bread sticks with a sweet marinara sauce. The service is always fast. The only bad things are you do not get plates. You eat... More

Mackie's Pizza is very different in the fact that it is not a round pizza as one is accustomed to, rather, Mackie's has a square pizza and is cut in squares. A large pizza has ??? 30 slices ? More than enough for a family. Thin crust, just down right good.

If you like thin bubbly crust this ones for you. The best pizza around. Salads are great. The atmosphere is truly Harrisburg. Everyone is a mackie's fan. Can handle large parties. Not really waitress friendly, but the food makes up for it. If you have a birthday party there they put your name on sign out front. That's neat for... More

Chicago and New York have their pizza's, but until you have had a Mackie's pizza, you have not had a real pizza. when people come back to Harrisburg to visit, the first place they go is Mackie's. this says enough.
