Excellent place for lunch! We had the hot turkey and a pulled pork sandwich with butternut squash soup and butter lettuce salad. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend!

So I must confess that I love this little local wine bar. It reminds me of something you'd find tucked away in downtown Chicago. It's cozy in the front with a new(er) covered patio in the back. Exposed brick walls and a small kitchen. Don't let its small size fool you since their cheese & charcuterie plates are delish! Go... More

We have never dined at Preservation Bread and Wine, but did call in for take out. Faster than a pizza place, our order was ready in 20 minutes. Vie enjoyed our order of olive tapenade, lamb meatloaf sandwich, and roasted vegetable focaccia, but felt that there wasn't enough food for the price we paid. The sandwiches could have been served with... More

My husband and I visited on a Saturday night- they had available seating indoors or out- outdoors they have a screened area and open air. Small if you haven't been to but pleasantly unique. I have a gluten intolerance so if you hoping they have GF bread-they don't. What we liked was the small bites/appetizer aspect. Great if you like... More

Preservation is a fantastic restaurant, that makes everything fresh in house. Lots of personality, and a very kind and personal staff. The owner is usually there, or at his neighbouring store, atlas chicken shack, and is very kind. The Mac and Cheese and the Grilled cheese are absolutely fantastic.

I love trying food that I haven't had 10 other places, and my meal at Preservation Bread and Wine filled my need perfectly. My husband and I dined here on a Saturday night. There was no wait and we had our choice of sitting in one of three areas: the main restaurant which seats about 20, the covered porch which... More

This restaurant is such a little gem. They have lots of small and medium plates on their menu which makes it a great place to go when you're not starving but you want to try some great food. I had the mushroom tart and it was perfect. The wine menu is excellent and they do half glasses if you ask!

We've been to this little gem more than 20 times, and have always had a great experience. Cozy dining room, tiny bar, and more space in a glassed in room out back. The food is fresh, creative and excellent. The "small plates", modest portions make it great for lunch, or a dinner where you and your party may order and... More

I finally went with my husband on a Saturday night. We love it. They had good selection of wine and small plates to share. We were there by 5:15 pm and had no problem getting seated. We had lamb meatloaf sandwich and spicy sausage casserole. It was so good! Can't miss this place if you visit Geneva.
