4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

It was raining so hard yesterday that we stopped on State Street simply to be safe. After looking around we discover that we are right in front of The Geneva Ale House. Never having been there before, we looked at each other and said " what the hell". As we stumbled through the door trying to escape the rain, we... More

We only had drinks. The beer selection of course is wonderful. Had a beer flight. Good drink choices. The food looked very good. Some fun and different choices on the menu. Will go back to eat and drink more beer. Would love to go on mystery beer night. $3 beer and you roll the dice on what you will get.... More

We came here for a late dinner and hopefully we found this place because any other restaurant was closed! We were lucky because everything was good, in particular the mini burgers!

We stopped here just for drinks and loved it. The food menu looked good but we had already eaten. A huge beer selection including a great cider/fruit beer selection which I loved. The staff was friendly and good music. Will return!

The food is higher end pub food but the star here is their beer list. It's huge and constantly changing. Seating is nice and there are tvs to watch sports, for example. It's a good place for couples or a night out with friends.

It's been a while since I've been here. The beer selection is still good and you can't beat their Ruben sandwiches but stay clear of the over sized onion rings. I was looking forward to crunchy, sweet onion rings but what I got were these oversized breaded onion skin with a strange bitter taste served with a weird mayo based... More

Very nice beer list, something for everyone. Food is good not great. Typical bar food is on the menu. Staff is good. Overall, this is a nice place to stop.

Be prepared to wait for a table on a weekend. Good food. Traditional bar food with a bit of an upscale twist. The best reason to go is the tap list full of high quality local craft beer. Experienced bartenders that understand beer, and can make informed suggestions not only for a beer that you may enjoy but one that... More

The good was good but nothing to write home about. Service was very good, helpful and friendly. The fried fish was greasy and the cole slaw didn't taste very good. The rest of the food was good.

We stopped in for a bite on our way through the town. The restaurant is situated on the ground floor of an old movie theater. We were greeted as soon as we came inside and told we could sit anywhere we liked. We chose a table in the front window to enjoy the warm sunlight on a chilly day. The... More
