The Claddagh looks like a little stereotypical Irish castle and that is where the pretending begins. There are some Irish items on the menu and some of them are very good. However, many of the menu items are your typical chain restaurant items, like fish tacos (at least they are good). This leads to one of the great restaurant mysteries,... More

Been here a few times, good quality food, but service lacking. Latest example tonight. Waited 10 minutes before server came over to acknowledge we wanted to order, unacceptable! Food was delivered but had to ask for silverware, water and condiments. Instead of getting those items so we can enjoy the meal hot, he went to another table to take their... More

When a group of 30 of us showed up for dinner, with reservations, we knew it would be a long night when there was only one server. It's really unfortunate that it was so very slow. Manager came out and apologized and gave everyone a discount off their bill, which was very smart but, of the 30 of us that... More

Great fish and chips and pork medallions in a raspberry sauce were awesome. Staff is very friendly and the beer selection is just what you would expect in an Irish pub.

The French fries were the only redeeming feature of the whole meal, and even those could be improved by most other restaurants. My burger was extremely well done, even though I ordered it medium rare, and the appetisers that we ordered were inedible. The appetisers were also delivered after the main course, and we never got our drinks. NEVER visit... More

We had a great time meeting with a large group of friends at Claddagh. They accommodated our large group with several tables outside. The fish and chips were some of the best we have had!

My wife and I ate here. She had the grilled salmon, I stuck with the traditional Irish fare with Shepherds Pie. Her salmon was overcooked and the rest of her plate was just average at best. My Shepherds Pie needed a little salt but was extremely delicious and went well with an IPA from Ireland. They have a large draft... More

I ordered the corn beef and cabbage ($15.99) and the other person in my party ordered the meat loaf dinner ($13.99). The corn beef and cabbage came layered with red potatoes, corn beef, and cabbage with carrots on the side. Also, on the side was a mustard cream sauce, which was unique and delicious. I was surprised that soda bread... More

The staff was very kind and attentive. Our out-of-town guests frequented the Claddagh several times during the course of our wedding week. They were from Ireland and the U.K and they liked the friendly and authentic feel to this restaurant. The staff knew many of our guests by name by the end of the week. We appreciated the excellent service... More

Whenever in Geneva, IL we always have at least one meal at Claddagh Irish pub. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is good, often live music at one end of the restaurant and sports on TV's around other areas. The fish and chips are great, the shephards pie is hardy. Good selection of beers and hard ciders. Our first visit... More
