Embe’s Seafood chowder soup was thick, creamy and tasty. Their Corned Beef Brisket sandwich which was cooked for ten hours melted in our mouths indeed. The soup was served with two slices of fresh bread for a cup of soup and four slices for a...More

We were looking for a place for lunch during a stop in Galena. We were pointed in the direction of the little restaurant and bar. The food was an amazing value and the bread pudding is the best I have ever had!

Food is as good as everyone says! This is a small restaurant and bar (all in one). It can get very loud and crowded! We loved the food but, didn't stay around because we couldn't hear each other talk :)

We stopped in for a light lunch. We had soup and shared a salad. The service was great. The salad was good but not especially memorable. But the soup was excellent. I had the mushroom, artichoke and my husband had the seafood. I liked both,...More
