I have eaten at the restaurant in Dubuque and Galena, Same great food and service at both places! Garlic bread is the absolute best. Very good salads. Can't wait to go back!!

Great atmosphere--3 levels. Garlic bread outstanding. Also enjoyed Italian wine selection like Sangiovese. Will be back to try other selections!

We had a fantastic dinner at Vinny Vanucchi's this past weekend. It's a busy place with lots of steps and eating areas, including outdoor seating. we loved the atmosphere (very quaint) and the wine and food was "so good" with generous servings! We ordered and split the manicotti with an extra salad and garlic bread. Yum Yum!

Vinny's is one of the oldest and well established Italian restaurants in the Galena area; and located just far enough off the tourist fray on Main street to offer a pleasant retreat. During the summer season reservations are highly recommended. The entrees feature a nice variety Italian classics, which go well with the "endless" garlic bread and family style salad.... More

The meal was wonderful. Huge plates of food. The staff was very nice and full of information. I have eaten there twice and would stop again.

We were in Galena to celebrate my birthday & I felt like pasta & wine were the way I wanted to celebrate with my husband. He ordered the baked penne and I went for the manicotti. Yum yum!!!! I ate the entire plate, which is not like me...but it was just that good. I also liked the atmosphere, we sat... More

We had dinner there this past weekend. Food was great. We had spaghetti and meatballs. Meatballs were huge and sauce was perfect. They serve a big bowl of salad and garlic bread with meals. The restaurant is 3 levels. It really is cool place. It's also a great value. We always go there when in galena.

The place was crowded but we were seated and served quickly. Their salads are large and made to be shared. Everything was delicious and servings very generous. Wait staff was friendly and courteous; prices very reasonable.

I had another restaurant in mind for lunch but it was getting late and my blood sugar was getting low. I wish I had held out longer. I had veal marsala, which was overcooked. The meat, the sauce, and the capers were all overdone. The garlic bread was good, the salad was totally average. We had a good server though,... More
