The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly. The pizza was good, though I prefer Malnati's. Our server helpfully packed up the leftover pizza for us to take home. My only criticisms are that service was on the slow side, and when one child in our group wanted plain spaghetti noodles with no sauce (ordering off the children's menu) I thought the price was a bit high.

This restaurant had pizza and an assortment of old time America Italian food. Don't believe the meals are from fresh ingredients or made homemade style. I had a chopped salad but got a salad that had chopped lettuce with nothing else. Pizza ok, pasta dish the were not fresh tasting. Nice room but they had a child of someone working here screaming and making noise. Service is slow and not at the top of their game especially since there was only 1 other table of 2 for dinner.
Could be a nice place but owners and operators need to get more serious about their business.

Since we live locally, we visit Positano's as often as we can. The food is authentic and the servings are more than adequate. The servers are pretty young which means they have a lot of patience and are very polite. They are well trained. If you are in the neighborhood, stop in and try it out. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Found this on TripAdvisor while on an overnight stay in Schiller Park. We had the Positano Special Pizza and Macaroni and Cheese Bites Appetizer. That appetizer was yummy and the pizza was excellent. We just ordered on phone and picked up so we could eat in our hotel room. Totally hit the spot!

First tried it on a lark, just driving by. Not a big place, but big enough and nice enough to do well. The food is the star. Had several Italian classics with delicious results. Mom & Pop place with family working it so they care. Not fancy, just plain good.

Met a group for a birthday party, and was quickly escorted to their area. I had a Fettuccine Alfredo that was great, and a slice of pizza that was also very good. The wine list was adequate and the owner came by a few times to check on us which was above and beyond. Would go back but for special occasions...

Not memorable but, served the purpose of "filling the hole". Just had spaghetti, meat gravy, meatballs and sausage. They ran out of lasagna so maybe that is a popular item. They didn't tell us until half our party had their entree's.

We used our Restaurant.com gift card to enjoy the restaurant. It was wonderful. 2 huge chicken breast fillets served over spaghetti. My husband had @ huge Veal fillets over penne. Yummy! The only thing We didn't like was the bread basket. They need to offer REAL chewy Italian bread. The server was very nice also. They have a nice menu full of Italian selections. So glad we found this place!

Cute neighborhood Italian.
Food is average. Usually not crowded, so if your starving stop in for a meal. Usually order the pizza and some pasta. PArk right in front, Take out too if you want fast takeout, Delivery available

My husband and I dropped into Positano's on a Saturday afternoon, just after the normal lunch hour. There were only 2 other diners in the restaurant at the time. We were promptly seated in the dining area which is very clean and comfortably decorated in an Italian theme. Our server was very friendly, the food was served in the right order and all at the same time. We started with their sampler appetizer platter which was enormous and delicious with a few dipping sauces of ranch and marinara. Really good! My husband ordered veal parmesan, I had their #1 entree of lasagna. Both were SO good. The minestrone soup was also fantastic. The crusty Italian bread they serve with olive oil and parmesan is very light and crispy. I asked what they did to it to make it that way but was told it's a secret! If I am ever in the way of Franklin Park again, I most certainly would stop in. We enjoyed our meal at Positano's!
