The serve plates of epic proportions here!!! Everything we saw brought to a table was more than should be consumed by one person. I enjoyed half of the A1 burger. Not because it wasnt good, but because it was 10oz and piled more than 6-8 inches tall. The pre meal rolls were great, especially with the flavored butter. I am... More

Have been there for lunch and dinner and no matter what you order it is always much more than you can eat and you end up taking most of it home. It is expensive!

We went with a party of around 25+ and they were quick to get our drinks and kept them refilled. Promptly had bread on the table. When they say large portions, they aren't kidding. You can definitely share a meal and be full. I got a salad and I had plenty for lunch the next day. Everyone's meals looked great... More

Great food but portions are so huge you won't have room to eat it all. The blooming onion can't be beat. Good southern style food. People from St Louis drive up to an hour to come eat the food.

We'd heard so many people talk about this place. Everyone is right about the crazy portion sizes. We enjoyed our food but were the victims of a lengthy power outage at our hotel so our leftovers had to be tossed. Our server, Jasmine, was attentive and did a good job taking care of us. The rolls and the butter were... More

My first visit. Large menu with many offerings - turned to my server Joanie for coaching and settled on the chicken fried chicken. Still warm dinner rolls with both whipped butter and whipped butter with cinnamon and sugar. Lunch portion consisted of a real boneless breast unfolded to cover a dinner plate - kept the country gravy on the side... More

Amazing food with gigantic portions!!!! I mean gigantic! My wife and I each got burgers and fries. Both were 10 oz mouth watering plates of happiness! The price was cheap compared to serving size. The bread and honey butter is amazing! We will definitely return!

My family comes to Fairview Heights on a regular basis to visit my wife's father and other family. We went to Lotawata Creek because it was the number one rated family restaurant in town, according to Yelp. We were hungry when we got there at about 6 pm. The hostess was unfriendly but not rude, just more matter of fact... More

The portion sizes here are huge and food is delicious. They have the best chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, salad, and bread! The service isn't the best but it is ok. Also, if you have a large party the wait is very long. I recommend going on weekdays or for an early lunch on weekends. They have a... More

My boyfriend had been talking about his place since we met, I was skeptical....but I was very wrong. The food was amazing. HUGE portions. The bread and butter they bring to your table is to die for. We got the thin onion rings....so many....and SO good. I ordered the Atlanta Chicken, the waitress said it was their most popular item,... More
