An Evanston institution. I am not a vegetarian, yet go here often and love their food. Try the corn and potato enchiladas. I hate tofu but the mongolian stir fry is wonderful and spicy. Great breakfasts - you don't miss the bacon. Wonderful bakery case-I even stop in just to buy corn muffins. Staff is very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable.

I have been to Blind Faith many times. Being a vegan, I would very much like to see them have more vegan friendly dishes. Their ingredients are fresh, their food is well prepared, I think that with investment in a few additional recipes they could become quite A destination spot for vegans. Specifically, the breakfasts are slim pickings for us.... More

We eat here once and a while when we visit the Chicago area. Over the years going back to the 70's, the food and environment have varied a lot. Now it's a bit more upscale than it used to be. I had the macrobiotic plate, and it was a bit better than in days gone by. My only gripe is... More

Typical healthy vegetarian food. Had to request more dressing for the Caesar salad, was bland and dry. Water wasn't served with ice.

I"m not vegan but also fond of veggies, etc. I've not been here for years and it seems that the menu is more sophisticated than 20 years ago. I enjoyed they Warm Onion Gruyere Tart (starter but I added to it to fill out my meal) and regretted not ordering two. The size was ample for a starter but it... More

We have had countless meals at Blind Faith in the 9 years that our 2 sons attended Northwestern University. We usually went for breakfast/lunch but have also had dinner here. Bright, airy establishment, with parking nearby, metered on street by restaurant, but free parking on side streets. Right on Dempster, by other shops and other places of interest. First, it... More

We arrived pretty early for dinner at the Blind Faith Cafe on a Tuesday night. It filled up quickly. Service was great. I had the Yellow Curry, and my husband had a Thai noodle dish. Both entrees were really large, so my advice would be to choose appetizers and split an entree. This place is also a quite superior bakery.... More

I ate at the Blind Faith Cafe years ago, and just returned for the first time in years. It was as delicious as I remembered! The service was good, and the food was excellent. The servings are huge. The yellow coconut curry could have easily fed two people, but we were happy to have leftovers for the next day! The... More

I have been to Blind Faith well over a hundred times. If it's been awhile, I crave the Blind Faith salad. I think it's one of the best salads I've ever had. I just brought my son for his first time. He wasn't expecting to like a vegetarian restaurant so much and wants to go back again some day.
