Really enjoyed our second visit to this sushi restaurant. The waiter was amusing, friendly and very attentive. The food was delicious. Excellent miso soup, seaweed salad, my favorite sushi was the the creamy lobster tempura and my wife's favourite was the salmon and tuna roll. Very clean restaurant with crisp decor. All in all was very enjoyable without being expensive.

This was one of the nicest Asian restaurants I've been to in the Evanston area. I would recommend it as a spot for a date night. There are a few vegan dishes and I would give this a vegan friendly rating of a 2.5 out of five. The quality of the food is excellent, both in presentation and taste. Will... More

Been there multiple times, never disappointed. Always fresh fish, quick and decent service, even though a bit pricy, but it worth every dime. Strongly recommend sashimi boat, perfect for a couple to share. And the house sake is decent.

We must like it, since we have been a few times. It is a nicer upscale eatery that is still accessible for those who prefer casual as I do. Service was beyond excellent and the food was fresh and well presented. It is a bit pricey if your tend to go overboard as I do. Will definitely go again.

Such a nice place to eat. The first time I went I wasn't overly impressed, but in the last two years it has rocked every time. The selection is great and the service is prompt. Also good drinks. A very nice place to get your sushi on!

The best meal we had while in the chicago area. I had the salmon and it was cooked to perfection. The plating was beautiful, the service was excellent and the outside patio seating was very nice. I would definitely recommend this charming restaurant and, if in the area again, I would go back. A+

I'm in Evanston to pick up a couple shots of two sculptures at the post office for a documentary. I stopped here for lunch since it is close to the post office and the Davis Street Metra stop. My usual is the tempura udon soup. This was particularly good and had good presentation. For $10 it comes with miso soup... More

I went with my family and we ordered sushi, sashimi and cooked salmon over rice. The sashimi and cooked salmon over rice were average but not as gross as the sushi was. We ordered salmon and tuna rolls as well as the lollipop roll. The salmon sushi was INEDIBLE. Several of the salmon rolls were dark unlike the bright orange... More

LOVE their creative rolls with clever names. They're enough for lunch, with a bowl of miso soup and are beautifully "crafted" as well as delicious.
