Delicious pasta and panzerotti. Also tried the gelato which was very good. Outdoor seating was a nice option.

Great tasting gelato. Every flavor is delicious. If you like coffee, the espresso flavor is amazing. Also the fried dough is delicious. Great relaxed atmosphere and they are open late on weekends.

If one hungers for 'gelato', here's one for you. Still, even though it occupies the space of the previous 'Al Gelato' this establishment does not rise to that level. Yes, the gelato is tasty enough but the taste selections are nowhere near as varied nor...as plentiful as used to be the case when 'AG' was there. When 'AG' was there, it was Nr.1 in all of Chicago! The current establishment is okay and will certainly satify most anyone who never knew 'AG'.More

Stopped in for lunch with a family member and baby. There were at least three other mothers with babies there. A very cozy and pleasant environment with room for everyone. We shared the soprano Panini and a caesar salad and they were both delicious. And...very filling - big sandwich! We didn't have enough room for gelato - regretting that now :) Friendly staff, nice place, I recommend if in the area.More

The best gelato around is at Massa, and they're always making new flavors which keeps us coming back for more. Of course they have the staples, like chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, nocciola (hazelnut), pistachio, and several others. I normally get the nocciola, but always get at...least one other flavor as well, whether it's a mixed berry, tiramisu, or another of my favorites, the speculoos. The artisan pizzas are Neapolitan-style (very thin crust), and my favorite is the white pizza with the mushroom medley. The paninis are quite nice as well, and you can have a half sandwich with either soup or salad. Polenta fries are offered with the paninis as an upcharge, and if you have someone to share them with, do it - they're super yummy, but quite filling. There are several pasta dishes as well, but no matter what you have, always, always save room for gelato! Or go in just for the gelato!More

Came here before for the gelato. Is heavenly.Grapefruit to avoid. Ask for tasting before ordering. Three screens, nice music, cold tap water.I would not eat here,is pricy and just regular bread&melted ,saucy cheese or pasta.

Love this place. Very neighborhood type of feel. The food is delicious. My personal favorite is the chicken caesar salad and the cavatelli with vodka sauce. The gelato is SO good. They've even won awards for it! I always get a mix of two different...ones. The coconut is pure heaven.. mmmmmMore

I've been here several times and it just keeps getting better and better! The eight finger cavatelli is to die for! My husband had the rib eye sandwich. There could have been more meat but the sandwich was still good. Don't miss the polenta fries....I love going there with a group because we get several dishes and we all share and each plate is better then the next.More

We were looking for takeout in my cousin's neighborhood. There are half a dozen places in a row. We were actually looking for Italian beef sandwiches at Jonny's but they were closed for 2 weeks. We settled on Massa because it looked like they had...a lot of takeout, not just as an afterthought. We each ended up with a panini with several Italian meats and the usual stuff with it. They offered pizza as well but we weren't in the mood. We also got a small container of gelato which I was told was very good.More
