Rose Garden occupies the site of several previous restaurants, such as Seven Stars and the town's first eating place, the Maitre'D. It's the best so far, and remains dependable for good Greek-American cooking. Their cream of chicken soup with its add-ins is my favorite year-round choice. Their gyros are better than any other place's, even those that brag on their... More

Artemis used to be my go-to place, but that closed a few years back and Rose Garden has taken its place. The food is consistently good. The soups are awesome! And so is the gyros. I especially like the chicken souvlaki.

Rose Garden does not care about any of their clients. I ordered a meal from them and when I went to eat the salad I found mud (there was a big chunk and a bunch of little flakes through out), I also found pieces of croutons (I told them no croutons because I'm severely allergic to them). I brought this... More

Tell Chris when you try his place, that Monk said he should buy you a brew with your meal. Try the 2X2X2.

Had an early dinner after an appointment nearby. There is a warm, cozy old-fashioned feel to the place. Our server was efficient and all-business. Extensive menu with several different versions of chopped steak, so we tried two versions of the dish. I had one topped with parmesan, mozorella and marinara. The toppings were good but there was not enough marinara... More

The Rose Garden Cafe is a beloved fixture in Elk Grove Village. The food is good, the wait staff friendly, and the prices quite reasonable. My only quibble is with the ladies' restroom -- while it is always clean, it is very small.

I go to Rose Garden all the time for lunch because the prices for the amount of food you receive are great! The food is consistently good, the service very fast and the servers are all pleasant. I tend to order the same items over and over again, but everything I have ever ordered has been delicious. The amount of... More

You can get in and out of here for $12 if you choose the Romanian chopped steak. A huge portion of red meat and low carb hobbyists can substitute cooked spinach for the rice or potatoes. At $18 you are in for a New York strip steak knife cut superbly grilled. Place is full of locals. Come as you are... More

The Rose Garden Cafe is a great place to have Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner at as they have a big menu with lots of good food to eat plus a dessert counter that's heaven in Elk Grove Village! The wait staff is courteous, attentive and ready to help their guests without having to be "flagged" down. There are specials daily... More
