Al and Loulie are both great chefs and excellent with the local clientele. I would recommend reservations on busy summer weekends for Friday and Saturday night if you have a group over 4 people. Lorraine, the weekend bartender, is a dear. The staff includes Al and Loulie's family, as well as many locals. Do not hesitate to ask Al for... More

We were passing through town and stopped in. The prices are extremely reasonable. The portions were large enough that we both took away boxes for later. It was tasty.

Went here with the girls when we were antiquing in the area. We had a wonderful lunch. The waitress was AWESOME! We loved our meals so much... we brought the guys back for a Friday night! The fish was delicious as were the drinks! Again- another great waitress & great service.

Cute bar and dining area. Food was good and very reasonably priced. Charm of a small town and the servers all knew the locals. A great stop for lunch on the way home from touristy Galena.

We found ourselves returning home from nearby Hanover on Friday afternoon right at lunchtime and decided to try somewhere new in the area for lunch. A quick inquiry on Trip Advisor led us to Welcome Inn a short 3 miles from our location. Elizabeth seems to be a quaint, quiet little town with a lot going on during the recent... More

For a small town this is a good place to eat as the food is good and you get a good portion and the staff are very friendly. And yes both couples agree we will eat here again when in the area

We arrived 1/2 hour before closing so some things werent available. We chose the special of the day (spaghetti) which came with the salad bar. So we wouldn't have to rush, we ate our salad from the salad bar and took the rest with us. The waitress was very friendly and at no time did we feel rushed or made... More

order the brisket in bulk if available! it is beyond delicious. It has a good old fashioned salad bar that is well kept. The soups were also very good! Didn't hear any complaints from the other tables either.
