At last the bakery expanded! In the past, inadequate seating limited my visits. With the new expansion, my friends and I will be regular visitors. The baked goods and quiche are top quality and the coffee is great. Danish pastry and bottomless cup coffee $6.

The only down side to this place is the lack of tables. Everything is satisfying and delicious....... Coffee is the best around! Local, organic coffee!!!! Breakfast burritos are great. Really just go there. So much better than any other coffee shop in town.

They have wonderful soups and sandwiches, Price is good. Staff is friendly and they have free WiFi. The only downfall is I wish they had more space. The Bakery eating area is small. I would love to see them expand, add a game or book corner make it a little better for hanging out. But you definitely need to try... More

Great local bakery - stop by to grab a few goodies on your way through town. Limited indoor seating but always plenty of options to go.

Baked goods and coffee are great!! Reasonably priced and everything is sooo good. You really can't go wrong with anything they serve. Be sure to try the sweets as well as the breakfast burritos, and also grab a loaf of bread to take home.

Their coffee is amazing. The breakfast burrito is also outstanding. I stay away from the pastries, but they always look incredibly appetizing. This is a great local gem.

I love to get out in a little town and get the vibe of the place, and Saturday Morning at 222 is apparently the tradition for this kind of immersion. The espresso is very, very good and all done real barista style - no push-button excuse for an espresso machine. The pastries and pastry smell are heavenly. I had the... More

I first discovered Artisan 222 when I was practicing law full time and occasionally had a case in Edwardsville. After my first visit I always made it a point to leave an hour early for court so I could have a cup of coffee or expresso and a piece of their delicious pastry. I and my wife have spent time... We have been traveling away from the area for about 6 weeks and we looked forward to our Saturday morning journey to Artisan and the Farmers Market. The coffee is always excellent, fresh and hot and great taste. We had two of the scones which better than anything in our area. We had a blueberry and a mixed berry. The... More

Three of us had a mid-morning treat here on a Monday morning. The coffee was good as were the cheese Danish. There is limited seating inside and two tables outside.
