Even if you're a vegetarian, like me, and go there with friends. They have a great salad bar and a large selection of great cheeses.

Group of 4 friends who are avid food lovers, should I say meat lovers... End up at Chama Gaucha for lunch...And the rest was pure bliss!!! From the moment we walked in, a warm welcome, got seated immediately, and our waiter Mike was an A class server! Very friendly, and was in tune to our needs! Also, very knowledgable in... More

My husband and I came across the restaurant while in the area taking care of some other business. We had no idea that we entered one of the best, if not the best, Brazilian steak houses we've been to. Everything was excellent. From the perfectly prepared meat, the well appointed salad bar, and I can't forget the cheese cake. It's... More

I went to this restaurant with my family for lunch to celebrate my parents' 49th wedding anniversary. The salad bar was fresh, the people serving the meat were very attentive, and the quality of the meat served was great. The lunch buffet was $29.50/ person and well worth it!

Went there for lunch. Lunch prices are $29.50 a person, half price of this for children 6-10 and free for children under 6. Lunch is M-F between 1130-200. Dinner prices are $48.50. I recommend going for lunch, you get the same meal for $19 less. Basic pop/sodas cost $3 each. Compared to Texas De Brazil and Fargo De Chao, Chama... More

When I compare Chama Gaucha to the other Brazilian steakhouses in Chicago (Fogo, Texas, etc.) I can sum it up like this. The vast selection of meat tastes better and more importantly less salty at Chama compared to the competitors. The salad bar is very nice but I believe the salad bar at Texas offers more of an interesting variety.... More

My entire family and I went for our holiday dinner there last night and everything was absolutely amazing. The staff was superb and the food was delicious as always. The dessert is also really good! My favorite is the tres leches cake. I would definitely recommend eating at this steakhouse! It never disappoints.

This is my favorite family restaurant. I've been there on several occasions and they never disappoint. Service is excellent. This is the #1 Brazilian steakhouse in Chicagoland, and I've been to all of them. Salad bar has plenty to choose from and meat selection is outstanding. Best creme Brule in town!! Chama Gaucha is worth the money!!

Food is amazing! Everything is salad bar is sooo delicious! And they serve the best meat that I have ever tasted! But the most important this in this restaurant is service! Everybody is so attentive. I have been here twice already, and I know that I will come back very soon again!

As we waited 30 minutes past our reservation time - jammed in the boisterous bar holding zone - I tried desperately to recall way I was so eager to return to this restaurant! Every aspect of excellence experienced during our initial visit was progressively eroded throughout the duration of this, our second time around. Extensive delay in seating our party,... More
