My husband, mother and I went one time. The bread was stale and the server acknowledged it was dried out because it had been several days old. The owner(?) came to our table and said she'd be glad to toast it for me if that would help. I said I'd rather have fresh bread on the sandwich but she said... More

I am the owner of Wildflour and I can assure you, you did not speak with me on your visit. I am horrified that you were treated so disrespectfully - and that you were served stale bread. We buy our bread from a clean-label, artisan bakery that makes wonderful bread. However, since it is preservative-free and made without dough conditioners,... More

After moving our daughter here to Decatur she wanted to try this place. It was so good. We had quiche, a tomato with three cheeses and an asparagus

I was not impressed. The food was ok, service terrible, being my first time the atmosphere was cool, but that was it.

Asb37 - I am dismayed that your first time at Wildflour was not up to our standards. I was not here the day you were in, but I would like to hear more about your experience and be able to correct our shortcomings. Could you please write to me at wildflourartisanbakery@gmail.com and let me know where our service fell short?... More

The friendly folks at Wildflour go above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant breakfast! We had two different Quiches and couldn't say which one is better because they were both excellent, Don't forget dessert! Lemon bars,Texas Sheet Cake, or anything with cherries in it!

I love to go in here for the great atmosphere and the fresh made from scratch food. They cook on site and always have a daily soup and sandwich combo which is what I like. I really like the fact that they do their baking of desserts and bread in the European style, which is what I was raised on.

Love Wildflour Bakery and Cafe! I like to go by myself and enjoy their different types of fruit breads with their wonderful coffee! It is a place you can go and relax, read the paper, meet a friend or browse downstairs in The Root Cellar! A great place right off downtown Decatur!

Me and my fiancé always come to Wildflour to get great coffee and pastries when we are in town. They have a great selection of menu items that make breakfast the perfect start to the day. Though sometimes the waitresses can be a bit snippy, but I don't take it personally. The pancakes are delicious and the coffee is strong!

We stopped here for a sweet and coffee. Let me start out saying that the pastries were excellent. They were pricey as two pastries, a coffee and iced tea cost over $15. The owner reported that there were trying to sell the place. I understand but can not confirm that there food at lunch are outstanding.

Beautiful old building, great antiquey decor. A nice place to relax on a hot day. Very good tea and baked goods. We also shared a special and tasty wrap and a slice of cherry kuchen.
