The restaurant has a quaint atmosphere, very comfortable and laid back. I ordered the mixed grill kebabs. Chicken and steak on a bed of rice. The flavors were bold and delicious. Portion sizes are generious. Prices reasonable. Would go back and try a couple different dishes.

The place is attractive. The food was very good.....a bit pricey for Sunday afternoon but at least you are getting good food.

Outrageously delicious, homemade appetizers - hummus, baba ganouj, dates stuffed with goat cheese and drizzled with pomegranate molasses! Main courses to sate any palate - from carnivore to vegan; every one house made, enthusiastically recommended by our server, Shahrazad (yep, her REAL name) and ample for any size appetite. BYOB wine; beer is available for purchase in the restaurant. Weekend... More

I was brought to this place as part of my interview for a job. Upon entering the restaurant we were met by a very nice young lady who seated and served us. She was very helpful with our time and our choices. The food was hot, tasty, and a lot of it! I took some back to my hotel and... More

I was recently watching a movie, and noted all the characters stopping at a place for Shawarma after the battle. Hopefully, they don't destroy DeKalb in the process, but if they were looking for Shawarma, the Mediteraneo Grill in DeKalb has it, and it's tasty. We dropped in while driving around. The place is a typical restaurant in an older... More

Hadn't been here in a couple of years but finally convinced my husband that he would find a lot of options for his picky palate, and he did! The food was so yummy and fresh tasting as well as nicely plated. Our server was friendly and helpful to describe the different dishes and make recommendations-thank you Shaz! Nice ambience. Definitely... More

Pleasant restaurant. Good food, pleasant service and reasonable prices with discount coupons common. I particularly like their chicken Schwarma which is better than the one we ate in the old city of Jerusalem. The lentil soup varies depending on the chef at the time. It can be very good or too salty. Portions are generous.

Mediterraneo Grill is a quiet little place hidden in plain sight in downtown DeKalb. The food is authentic and very tasty. The service is excellent with the wait staff taking the time to meet and greet each table. I have several favorites on the menu. You can't go wrong with the classic Gyro Plate but the Beef Kababs and the... More
