The apple strudel is the best. When you take a bite apples squeeze out there is so much. Never ever had another strudel that can compare. Everting else there is great as well. Try the holiday bread but only near holidays. They use real fresh ingredients. Best bakery ever

Kruta has been around for generations, as I've learned as a newcomer to Collinsville, and I can understand why. I've worked my way through their entire selection of sweet bakery items and I've truly enjoyed them all. Donuts, danish, pastries, kolaches, cream horns, fudgies (you MUST try a fudgie) are all fresh and delicious. The place can get crowded, but the staff if courteous and efficient. Even if the pace is full, you'll be served in under ten minutes. Trust me, these ladies hustle! I wish I could give them more than 5 starts. It's just that good!!!

We've been coming here off and on for quite a long time. It has always been good, but has just gotten better and better over the years. It really is the best place here for stollen, pastries, doughnuts and about one of the only places to find old fashioned poppy seed and nut rolls and several varieties of rye bread. Really, we are very lucky to have Kruta.. And, by the way, they are expanding the building to add a coffee shop,

Kruta's is the best place to go for something sweet. It is a must to get there early, but with a phone call they will hold it for you. The ladies behind the counter are very friendly and the service is fast. I highly recommend their Madison cake for a party, everybody loves the different flavors.

Where do I begin? The lovely strawberry roll? The delectable brownies? The tasty kolaches? There are so many delicious (and affordable) choices. We've never yet tried an item from Kruta that wasn't out of this world. Staff is upbeat and ready to make recommendations. Best bakery in town.

We brought these donuts in for a site visit to a business meeting. The employees raved about the Kruta donuts. They all said that they were the best. We also purchased a couple to keep with us for the road. For us they were good. We have had better donuts accross our travels. It is interesting how each place we go, they all have that special place that people say is their favorite. For us these donuts were good but not great. 4 stars from us!

The donuts are so much better here than the franchise donut place. Then again this is a true bakery. This is the only place that I know where one can get custard filled doughnut. Don't forget the danish and kolache.

The service was great, the donuts were amazing, and the prices were very reasonable. They were sold out of somethings but not too bad.

We get bakery items from Kruda for special occasions . We do not live in Collinsville.
Everything is wonderful. Independent bakeries are the best.

We have been fans of Kruta Bakery for a long time. We were recently in town and stopped in to get cream puffs and gooey butter cake. They did not disappoint!

We swung by as we drove through the town based on Trip Advisor. Great choice of items, wonderful people working there, and the conversation with customers waiting in line with us was fun.
Recommend the pastries and we tried five different ones over three days!

I just love going to kruta Bakery in Collinsville. Personally I love the angel cream filled doughnuts, with chocolate on top. Not sure if they make them everyday, sometimes they are sold out, they're so good.

The bakery is very clean and the employes are all very nice , they also are very helpful. I go ther at least 2 times a month .

A small town bakery with some wonderful breads and desserts.
I love their donuts especially. Of course, all items are freshly made.
I so love the smell as you walk in the door. Mmmmmm.
Get their early if you can, things can sell out quickly.
