After arriving into Chicago from a long road trip from San Francisco we decided to check this place out. Chef Mitch moved to Chicago from Monterey and offers a creative and delicious menu. We ordered four special rolls between the two of us and the...most memorable was "the Pig and the Sea" roll with salmon, spicy scallop, bacon, yamahgoboh, jalapeño, cilantro, cucumber, avocado, tobiko and spicy mayo. This is some of the best sushi I ever ate.
This is a BYOB establishment but they to not allow hard liquor. This place is very popular and after dining here I observed that Chef Mitch has a very loyal following. If you have the opportunity to sit at the bar, say hello to him.
The restaurant does not take reservations however the staff will gladly put you on a wait list.More
