Do yourself a BIG favor and go to de cero - !Hello Tacos! on Randolph Street. It is located near Greek Town. It is worth the trip! This place has the best Mexican food I have ever eaten! Nice outdoor seating, clean and nice ambiance. The server we had (Felix) was fantastic! The food is so fresh, authentic and delicious!... More

The west loop area was packed with people, cars and noise but as soon as we entered the restaurant we felt like we were in a quaint little bistro. We had reservations so we were seated right away, Our server was personable, helpful and made some excellent food and drink recommendations. The watermelon margarita should not be missed! It was... The ambiance is not that of your average Mexican restaurant. This place offers a-la-cart tacos and great drinks. Not a traditional Mexican food from a mom & pop place, it's upscale delicions and refreshing.

We stopped in on a whim because all of the surrounding restaurants had a two hour wait. The staff there were all really friendly. Our server was willing to make changes to our orders, and when our chip basket was full of crushed pieces he brought out a heaping fresh plate. The reason for four stars was that none of... More

Ate at a high end restaurant right down the street one night earlier (see my 2 star review of Vivo) and paid three times as much per person but didn't get a third of the value of de cero "Hello Tacos". The service at this casual, hip Mexican restaurant was outstanding, the food was great and the prices were right.... More

Graduation Celebration was great. Food and service were both spectacular. Drinks could have been a bit more potent. Had 2 margaritas but didn't feel any effect. Overall a fun time!

By far the best and most authentic food. Finally a good Mexican restaurant. Chicago is becoming a foodie's paradise and Hello Taco is part of it. Never could eat the fruits on the streets of Mexico, here is your chance to eat it. I am surprised why this place doesn't have 5 stars. Great options for vegetarians. The enchiladas, the... More

had 2 types of guacamole, 5 different types of tacos and one of the freshest, tastiest margaritas ever on Mother's Day Weekend. Service was excellent, food was brought out promptly. We added on another order of guacamole and that was brought out quickly and smoothly. Tacos were great! They offer several types and we tried most of them - all... More

You will love de cero; which translates into "from scratch" - which is exactly what they do -everything is made from scratch! Hand pressed tortillas, freshly made crema -its clean, whole mexican food with a modern casual twist.

de cero is known for its amazing taco menu; specializing in 15 different types of gourmet tacos. Try their signature tacos; such as the grilled ahi tuna taco with spicy habanero mango salsa, grilled skirt steak taco with chipotle mayo and potatoes, battered shrimp taco with avocado crema, or the chile rubbed pork al pastor taco with charred pineapple.

While at de cero you must order the duck nachos, they are simply devine!

The margaritas are made with fresh lime juice and range from a tart guava margarita to the popular pineapple jalapeno margarita.
If you are a rum lover, try the raspberry basil mojito, very interesting flavor combination.

de cero is a great place to take a date, host a birthday party, or just get a quick bite to eat.
