While visiting Art Institute and Cloud Gate, this was a perfect place to stop & sit down & eat a nice meal. Great atmosphere--not too fancy but nice. There is a wide range of food on the menu & prices. The $15 burger & fries was outstanding! But you could spend up to $60 on your entree. Service was excellent!

We were in Chicago for a day trip and needed a place to eat after seeing the sights. I have a friend who grew up in Chicago, and still visits, who gave me this place as a recommendation. It was just before typical supper time and we were able to sit as a walk -in. We were led to a... More

We enjoyed the modern style of the food, several options, without having an overwhelming menu. The drinks are wonderful!

The food and service were good. Nice atmosphere. The fried pickles and poutine were really tasty appetizers. The venison burger was excellent!

Stopped in for lunch on a busy Saturday. Great location right across from Millenium Park. Nice prompt service. Menu still offered brunch choices even at 1:30 pm. Both brunch and lunch choices likely to have something to please a range of tastes. Enjoyed the fried pickles, a tasty tomato salad as well as a very tasty venison burger accompanied by... More

Had brunch at The Gage on a Sunday, the menu was great and the service was better. It's a big restaurant with a nice outdoor patio. I would definitely return.

The Gage fills the gap between Chicago pizza/hot dogs and the high end culinary scene of Chicago. The menu has a wide variety of excellently prepared salads, sandwiches, and entrees. The food and atmosphere have the appearance of 'Fine Dining' but the prices are more in line with a casual place. When you walk in, The Gage feels like Chicago.... More

Ordered the Scottish eggs - some of the best I've had. The Moscow Mule was refreshing. Everyone enjoyed themselves. $175 for four people, appetizers and drinks only.

Though we read the positive reviews we were still very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and service. The service was impeccable. We were there for brunch and it was busy - but the server gave off a 5 star ambiance based on his attentiveness. I have paid much more for many of my meals and not receives... More

Was there for a large group dinner in a private room (below street level). Bar in the space which made it easy for the private reception. The set menu include beef, fish and vegetarian Opted for the filet which was cooked as requested, rare, which is rare for a large group. Salad was excellent an crisp. Normally skip dessert but...
