The chill of Chicago pushed me into this little sushi place with no knowledge of whether it is good. What a wonderful surprise! Ryo has excellent sashimi and sushi. The white tuna sashimi is going to be unforgettable- creamy, succulent flesh that almost melts in...More

Reasonable prices, good but not great sushi, close quarters. The ceiling is really cool and decor modern, except for the tacky Christmas garland along a ledge.

Sushi was delicious. Kids devoured everything. Rolls were well done and well proportioned. Everything tasted fresh. We had regular rolls, specialty rolls, miso soup and a great chirashi. Would definitely recommend and if local would eat here. Regular rolls were fairly priced as well. Only...More

We found this place using the Happy Cow app because I am vegan and the three others I was with are not. All of our food was amazing and the price was right. When we were finished eating we walked just a few blocks and...More

This restaurant had really good sushi for a reasonable price. Their service was good and the food came out very fast after we ordered.

I'm not local, so I can't compare to other sushi places in Chicago, but it's been definitely one of my best sushi experiences ever. Very friendly waiters, fantastic quality of food and nice interior.

The place is oddly designed with the bathrooms in frosted glass rooms opening right in the middle of the dining room. The rest of the space has a generic, simple look and feels a little like a fast food deli more than a sushi place....More
