My husband and I spent a day in Chicago before going on to Osh Kosh, Wisconsin annual big air show event. A friend had recommended Cafe Bionda. The restaurant was a little dark, maybe for atmosphere. We started with the calamari which was quite good. I had a shrimp broccoli pasta dish that was better than I could have imagined... More

We visited at the recommendation of the Hyatt concierge, and what a find! Delicious lunch with large portions. Delicious homemade bread and sauce to start. Chicken parmesan sandwich and chicken limone were to die for! Highly recommended!

We were trying to find a last-minute place near the convention center for food. Just happen to be on a list of restaurants as provided by the Hyatt hotel. We did not know what we're walking into you but we are pleasantly surprised. This is a mom-and-pop place that has home-cooked, higher end Italian food. The service is excellent. Our... More

We ordered there special of 2 filet mignons well done. The steak was almost raw that we couldn't eat it. When we finally caught our waiters attention it took him a while to speak with the chef. Instead of offering to comp the check the chef sent out tiny desserts. All you got for $38 was 2 raw filets and... More

I've had lunch and dinner at Cafe Bionda. I enojoyed both experiences. The wait staff were very attentive and professional. The food was absolutely delicious. Both times I had the shrimp and pasta dish with the house salad. My dinner date had the meatball and spaghetti and lunch date the same as mine. Would recommend Cafe bionda for lunch or... More

We were staying at a hotel near by and the hotel manager sent us there. I was a great dinner! and really quick (being at the hospitality industry we were amazed how quick all foods were served!). My husband got the filet mignon. really good, well cooked. I got fetucine a la Vongole. And may say I eat this dish... More

We were looking forward to eating at Cafe Bionda on a recommendation from a friend. Our experience from the very beginning was forgettable. We pulled up to the Valet, only to sit... and sit... and sit, until 10 minutes later, after being completely neglected, I drove away and parked on the street. Our party of 6 met at the bar... More

Well this is my last time at this place. The bartender basically treated me like a disgusting human being because I happened to pull out my vaporizer (e-cigarette) and suddenly signaled me like a little child " no no! That's not allowed here" and the other people started laughing. After being a customer here for a couple years, l will... More
