Decided on our 2 night stay we had to try the famous deep dish pizza. They warn you it will be a 45 minute wait so factor that in. There were three of us, all adults, 2 men, 1 woman and we should have got 1 large between us. Got a medium and a small and took 3 slices away... More

This was our first Chicago style pizza experience, so it was great that we decided on the best to try first! Unbelievable! I've always been a "New York" style guy, but this was incredible. There was a long wait to get in, but we got right in as we were a party of 2! Definitely need to add this to... More

Not knowing what to get with our drinks, we chose the tasty calamari and the (I-wasn't-so-crazy-about-the-choice) artichoke dip appetizer. I have to tell you that it was one of the best dishes I have ever had. It went very well with the bottle of wine we shared. I expected chips for the dip but got toasted bread instead but it... More

My wife, son, daughter and I ate dinner at Gino's East in July 2016. The line moved quickly and we were seated. The pizzas took about 45 minutes to come. I have eaten at Gino's East many times over the years. I had my favorite deep dish spinach, tomato and cheese pizza with a wonderful crust. The place has not... More

We were on the third floor for a rehearsal dinner party. There were over 100 people so it was a little tight. Food good. Not great but it was a huge party and I was at the end of a table fairest from the servers so it was hard. Great outdoor patio area.

Fun place, good food. We had the deep dish and it was good - has a lot of crust and a lot of cheese. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. It felt like a tourist hot spot - which was fine. Everyone in a good mood. Even though we came for the pizza, what we really loved was the pretzels. They... More

We have always been fans of Giordano's and decided to try Gino's! We weren't disappointed and will be back. Gino's is larger so the wait times weren't as bad too.

CLASSIC Chicago Pizza. This is one of the original places, great vibes, even though they clearly turn tables over quickly. A little off the beaten path, but still accessible. Go, enjoy, talk about it forever. OH! But remember to get the sausage patty, not crumbled. You're welcome.

Worst Thin Crust Pizza I have had ! Expected more authenticity from Gino's but my pizza was no different from one bought from a supermarket. Everything about the Pizza was soggy ....no crispiness or bold flavours. Tasted Bland and soft😕 Come on Gino's surely you can do better than this ?

It's been ten years since my wife and I had been to Gino's. Went back with our young kids and it was even better than we remembered! Always a laid back fun atmosphere and the best pizza in Chicago.

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
