Went here with 130 business associates and had a great time....nothing fancy, just great pizza and beer! We had the upstairs reserved, which was really nice. Very busy, but the wait staff kept up. The deep dish "meat legend" pizza was really good! Lots of meat, great sauce, and thick crust, loved it!

A trip to the magnificent mile area in Chicago wouldn't be comple without some deep dish pizza and Ginos East is a classic. The atmosphere is electric. It is noisy and loud, the walls are covered with graffiti. Visitors can to it!

This place is popular so expect a wait. If you are alone, try the bar. Make sure you set your expectations on time. Assume a 30 minute wait to be seated (+/-) and then once you place your order it takes about 30 minutes to get your pizza. Then it comes out so fresh from the oven that it is... More

I ate there on July 18th with my wife and two teenage children. It was our first time to Chicago, there for our first time experiencing authentic Chicago deep dish pizza. The food was great. The atmosphere is kind of neat, writing all over the walls, lots of pictures of celebrities that have visited. The staff did a good job.... More

My daughter and I traveled from Cleveland. We wanted an authentic deep dish from Chicago! Wow!! Everything about it was outstanding! Nicest staff, quick service (beware the deep dish takes 45 minutes). A small was more than enough for the 2 of us! We are not sure how we are going to eat pizza ever again anywhere else!!!

Warning! It takes an hour to get Chicago style pizza here, but soooo worth the wait! My husband rested at the table while the kids and I strolled along the Magnificent Mile. The time flew by. Pizza was delicious! Wish we would have brought a white out pen to write our names on the wall.

Gino's deep dish pizza is so delicious. I know that everybody has the favorites. I can't say I do. I love them all for their own reasons. Sit down, put your name on the wall, drink a beer and get that Chicago style deep dish!

We went there with friends and 4 of us shared a large Meaty Legend deep dish pizza amongst many appetizers. Every thing tasted so good. The kids had a blast being able to write all over the walls, chairs, and mirrors which is a trademark of all Gino East restaurants. if your in Chicago and love pizza, you have to... More

As I am writing this I am I wishing for it! We had it three times while we were there! Two times delivered to our hotel room! I must say to my surprise the Brussel sprout appetizer was AMAZING. If you like Brussel sprouts this is the thing to order. We also got the anti pasta salad which was very... More

So this is the must-experience Chicago deep dish? We've eaten pizza all over the south and mid-west and generally devour what is put in front of us. To me this pizza was heavy and kind of blah.
