First time in Chicago and everyone says you have to have a Chicago style pizza. More than a couple friends recommended Gino's East and they met the expectations! Jason our waiter provided excellent service and suggestions because you can't eat everything you see here!

First time had to wear winter coat while eating in a restaurant!! Dined at table on 2nd floor, breezy and cold location. Expressed concern to hostess, saw her mention to manager who walked away. The waitress acknowledged cold air over table. We had to cover pizza with napkin, hoping to keep it moderately warm... Lost attention to what matters the... More

Yes it was Chicago style but the crust is closer to cornbread than anything else. Not really my style and I wouldn't say it was special otherwise. Cool place and decent wait staff.

Gino's remains one of my top Pizza stops while in Chicago. They make the best crust of all the pizza places in Chicago.

I will admit I've only had deep dish pizza a few times but Gino's definitely does it right. This was walking distance from our hotel and around alot of other places to check out. The food was good, the staff were friendly, and it wasn't overly packed. I have no complaints.

The food was great but the service was poor and the prices were expensive for pizza. I would rather spend that kind of money at Giodiona's for a nice atmosphere.

We were staying at a hotel in walking distance so we ordered both thin crust and deep dish for takeout. The pizzas were hot, fresh, and I could tell the ingredients and cheese were high quality. They gave us plates and flatware. There were some amazing looking brownies for sale as well but we were trying to watch our waistlines!... More

So when my family and I relocated to Indianapolis, IN for a job promotion I realized that it was only a 3 hr. drive to Chicago. I always mentioned I wanted to go to Chicago just to try Chicago deep dish pizza. Sooo being this close to the city I had to excuse not to go. I gathered up the... More
