This was our first visit to David Burke's Primehouse restaurant. There is a huge choice of fantastic Steak restaurants in Chicago and we have visited a few of them previously. Came here with a large group of coworkers during a conference, and it was a treat. Firstly, they don't seat you unless everyone in your party is present... FYI. And it's good to have reservations. We have eaten at David Burke's three times and one was wonderful the other two fair. In downtown Chicago, there are better alternatives that will bat better than .333

Beef is super tender! There were 4 of us and we had the 40 and 55 day dry aged ribeyes, also had the filet migon. All were excellent! The sides were big enough to serve 2 people. --was in Chicago July 2016 for a buddies 50th --we picked David Burke's Primehouse as we always do a nice dinner / date night on our trips. --we were not disappointed by DB Primehouse. --from the hostess to the servers everyone was very nice, professional and we like to consider ourselves pretty low-maintenance and make their job a little easier... 2nd time I've been here, and just as impressed as my 1st time. Steaks are spectacular-- the best I've ever had. My favorite is the KC Strip-- it seems to exhibit the flavor of the dry-aging process much better than the featured steaks (40+ day aged Ribeye). Great service.

Took a group of 13 to dine in the private room. Everything was excellent...service, food, presentation. Especially loved the lobster bisque. I'm one that tries it wherever I can; rivals the best. Filet mignon was done perfectly and seasoned well. Highly recommended.

We stop for lunch to try this burger that supposedly the best burger in the United States according to food and wine magazine, I don't know who works at food and wine magazine but they got this one right this burger was outstanding and it's one of the best I've ever had.

My wife and I ate here on a weekday night at the bar. The steaks and sides were the best. I will say that the more a steak is aged does not mean it will be better. My steak was aged about 50 days and it was very tender and good. I think any longer for ME and it would... More
