We enjoyed a late dinner seating for the second set on a Saturday night. The restaurant has a 2 hr time limit on dinner tables so plan accordingly if you want to listen to play-sets while at your table instead of moving to the bar. I felt the food was priced according to portions offered and was tasty. Menu offers... More

We always enjoy experiencing some jazz when we visit America and on the advice of our hotel concierge we booked dinner at Andys on the second night of our stay in Chicago. We had to pay a $10 cash cover charge each on entering. The feel of the place was in keeping with old time gangster Chicago with dark surroundings... More

On our first Chicago trip we wanted to experience some nice live music the city is known for. We looked up Andy's online and it was a right choice. It was pretty busy on Monday evening, we found seats at the bar and enjoyed our wine while listening to awesome musicians playing. It was a right choice and I would... More

This is a great venue if you like jazz. I had not been to a jazz club in almost 20 years but Andy's Jazz Club made up for it. The Mike Smith quartet was playing and what a show they gave! You have a choice of being right up front and personal with the band or sit back a distance... More

On a Monday night, the crowd was light and the jazz was poetic. My fifteen year old son and I caught the early show, shared some fries and a Pepsi and had a great time for only a $10 cover. 20 minute walk from the Palmer House...perfect.

If you look for nice jazz live music in a sort of landmark place in town for this kind of entertainment, Andy is a good place. The venue is not too large but is comfortable enough to let you enjoy the concert from every corner. Quality of musicians is high. But music in one of the two parts of the... More

We got there at 9:30pm in a friday of July exactly when Mike Smith Quintet started to do their magic. They charge $15/person to see the band, what in my humble opinion is a bargain considering the caliber of these guys. The place was crowded, but the staff managed to get us an table for two. In a couple of... More

Recommended by a local resident, we went to try this place and it came out amazingly great. Full of people at bar. Live music, excellent food and drinks. Totally live. Full of energy. What else you need.

Visited here on a Wednesday night looking for some good live jazz and we hit the jackpot. Saw Mike Smith and the friends play some very good music. If you like great sax playing, don't miss a visit to Andy's on a Wednesday night. It seems that Mike Smith has had a standing gig here on Wednesdays for 30 years.... More

Went to dinner and for the early show. This place has a great atmosphere and we had a very good view of the band which played for almost 2 hours. The food was very good and the service was very attentive and service oriented. I recommend that before going you check on the band playing that night. Although I love... More
