We ate breakfast here on the recommendation of the parking lot attendant and glad we did. It was very busy, but we had great service and food at a reasonable price.

On a short trip I had breakfast here both mornings. The omelettes and homefries were exceptional and the staff was friendly enough. I'm not sure if the servers could tell we were out of towners but for some reason I felt tense when speaking with a particular server.

Quick and yummy! There was a line when we walked in, but wait was only a few minutes. They are so quick here that the tables turn quickly. Breakfast and lunch available. Eggs Benedict was delicious and BLT was super! Near NBC tower, saw Andy Avalos (local weatherman). We'd go again when we are in Chicago!

We go to breakfast here every time we go to Chicago. I'm a big breakfast person. It is my favorite meal and here it lives up to the hype. Always a wait but it goes quick. The food is delish and has a variety for anyone.

One Sunday morning we tried West Egg Café for brunch. Even though there were five of us we were seated promptly. We tried several different dishes including corn beef hash (which was well seasoned and crispy), pancakes (which has mixed grains), omelets, fried eggs, waffles, sausage links, and even the rubin sandwich. All of which were properly prepared. The only... More

If your staying at or near the Doubletree Hotel, cross the street from their restaurant and eat breakfast at West Egg. Awesome breakfasts at reasonable prices. Very busy but no waiting if you sit at the counter. Waiters are very friendly and your food is prepared without waiting long at all. Hot coffee unlimited.

This place has fresh squeezed juice, great buttermilk and whole wheat pancakes, yummy egg dishes with tasty breakfast meats, and lots of healthy choices, too. The service is also first-rate! We went to other breakfast places with high ratings in Chicago but none were as good as this! Wish we had found it earlier; we would have gone there every... More

Cannot complain here! My whole family of 4 enjoyed their meals. The oatmeal is delish and the turkey sausage and side muffin. Service was friendly, attentive, and efficient. Cute place! I'd definitely go again if I were in town!

Had family in from out of town and went here for breakfast after reading other reviews. It is a very busy and loud restaurant with average food. We did not have to wait long to be seated and the service was good but it is not somewhere I would go again.

Thank dmar53

Staying in Streeterville

Neighborhood Profile
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
