Great food, good service, excellent value. Home made fish cakes, fresh vegetables in all of the dishes.

We had dinner here last night and it was rather disappointing. The food was okay but not great - it might have been adjusted for Chicago taste rather than real Thai food. In particular nothing was that spicy, even the dishes we were told would be. Worst of all is that the rice was hard and clumpy and had clearly... More

This was a decent spot for Thai but I've had better just down the block. Their egg rolls are decent and you get a nice little order of them. The Tom Yum soup while plentiful is a bit lit on the broth as it needs a bit more flavor to it, and they should cut out the bamboo shoots as... More

We met some friends here for drinks and dinner. The drinks were reasonably priced ($8 martinis) and so was the food. We shared the Dao's platter and Goong Hor-shrimps in blankets. All was good and plenty for 4 people, although there was 3 of each different appetizer in the platter so we had to work to make it fair. We... More

This restaurant was an okay experience. It was cheap, plentiful and affordable, no doubt. I have had more flavoursome Thai, however. My dish was quite bland (rice-based, with chicken). I had to borrow peanut sauce from my fellow diner's dish to add flavour! The decor is a bit drab as well with "sunken" seating making you feel like you're eating... More

If I could give this restaurant 0/5 I would. The service was poor and the food inedible. The peanut curry tasted distinctly of peanut butter and the vegetables in the curry were still raw. The rice was edible but would be hard to mess that up.

Weak imitations of westernized Thai dishes. Nothing stood out except that nothing tasted like Thai food. Super disappointing.

We stumbled into this place while on a 3-day visit to Northwestern Law School. We wanted a light dinner because it was late. We stuck with our favorite dishes and were not disappointed. Som Tum (green papaya salad) was authentic and delicious. What they called "Crazy Noodles" was the traditional drunken noodle dish which was fragrant with lots of basil... More

Staying in Streeterville

Neighborhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
