The food was way too salty. We liked the hot and sour soup and, especially, the pot stickers. The scallion pancakes were a disappointment; not as good as years ago; need more scallions. The service was very friendly and efficient.
Fernando a waiter at the restaurant pelecanos at the moon palace nazuc is a amazing waiter that we went to every night and always left us more than satisfied, he got to know us personally and asked us great question, and after the first day...he remembered our names, he always knew what drink would fit the food we ordered or the mood we were in, and made sure we got plenty of their fabulous bread. Fernando was overall the highlight of my trip experience wise and I will be back next year to hopefully see him again.More

Servers are very attentive, sweet, and kind every time we come. The food is excellent. One dish better than the next. In particular, best rice cakes I have EVER had. Superb sizzling beef with black pepper sauce. Great cumin lamb. I could go on and...on. Try the chicken corn soup. My husband loved it and he usually is not a fan. Portions are large. Highly recommend this restaurant in Chinatown.More
This is delicious Chinese food. The General Tsao is AMAZING! The Xhiolo bao is delicious and the people are so sweet and kind!! We had a wheelchair and they brought out a ramp and put it out so we could come in and dine. So...kind. We’ll be back! It was a fantastic experience.More
If you are staying at the Moon Palace, Cancun you must go to El Manglar Restaurant for your breakfast. Antonio de Jesus Susana does the most perfect poached eggs, cooking them whilst you wait so that they are exactly right. He is always busy with...guests queueing up for his omelletes too but, although he must be nearly melting with the heat from his stove, he is always cheerful and joking with the guests....top chef..thank you.More
During a recent visit to Chicago we went with friends to Moon Palace in Chinatown. Ever since our favorite Chinese restaurant closed in Glenview Illinois we’ve been looking to replicate that quality of food. Moon Palace is the answer to my prayers. I have never...had such delicious egg roll and everything that the six of us ordered was delicious. We even went back a week later for lunch. There are many restaurants in China town but you cannot go wrong with Moon Palace.More
Has been a while since I moved from Philly to Chicago. Couldn't find a restaurant with decent Peking Duck... I FOUND it! Absolutely delicious. Now I just need to find a restaurant that makes snails in black bean sauce.
The restaurant's at the Moon Palace that I've experienced were excellent.The reason being is not just the food but the staff most of them were doing there best serving me and my family and I want to give them recognition for a job well done....They are: Jerome - Waiter, Kieron - Outside Waiter, Odain, Omar, Carlin, Sabrina, Tamara, Rosie - Bar/Lobby and last but not least, Wade Wynter and his staff for making sure that our rooms were decent. The wait staff is attentive without being in your face. I will admit that the food wasn’t extraordinarily different than “typical” Chinese food but it was tasty. The soup was rather delicious.
Stopped in with my kids for lunch and ordered shrimp wonton soup, dumplings, fried rice and chicken, stirfry shrimp with egg and chives...everything was delishes! Service a was friendly and quick, restaurant was clean. Fantastic authentic Shanghai menus.
The Moon Palace restaurant in Chinatown has been one of our favorite restaurants in Chinatown. The waitstaff are professional and the food is delicious. We ordered, egg rolls, beef and pea pods, sesame chicken, sweet and sour pork and pork fried rice.
My husband and I went to Chinatown for lunch. We walked into the Moon Palace. We were immediately seated. There were others in the restaurant, but it was not packed. The restaurant was clean, service was very good and the food was fresh and delicious...and reasonably priced. We'll be back!More
