Not so well organized, there's like three waiters for the whole restaurant. Food was good but the service not so much. It was a long wait just for somebody to offer us drinks, which was disappointing considering the good reviews.

This is my second time feasting here and the food seems to be better each time! I'm not good with remembering the names of the menu choices, but I suggest trying a variety of appetizers just like we did. You won't be disappointed. My dinner was a lamb dish. If you're sensitive to spicy then please consult with the waiter... More

Another visit to our favorite Indian restaurant in Chicago. Chicken 65 was mouthwatering!!! Tandoori mixed grill was fabulous and enough to feed 2 people.Chicken madras was also outstanding. Have not had a bad dish from here yet. Very friendly service.

Only went here for the lunch buffet, which was awesome. Good selection of veg and non-veg dishes thoughtfully placed at separate locations. Many veg choices: aloo bonda, bhindi, gobi, mixed veg, paneer, dal. For non vegs: sausage, tandoori chicken, tikka masala and goat curry. The icing on the cake were 2 desserts: gulag jamun AND rasgulla - hit the spot.... More

I went to this place for a quick Indain curry. They have a fixed buffett for 15 dollars. I had 5 different vegetarian curries to choose from. All were very fresh and tasty. Worth visitng if you fancy an Indian in Chicago.

We were seated as soon as we entered. Papadums promptly made their way to our table. We never received menus till we asked, about twenty minutes after coming in. Service was shoddy at best. Food was edible and no better.

To start with the food , the items are expensive to read from the menu. Once they serve the plates, they look amazing, and tastes amazing too. One of the finest Indian restaurants to server good authentic tasting Indian food. The chicken starters (kababs) are really good and you want more. The meat platter when arrives looks really cool and... More

We reserved on line, but then had to move it back an hour. They accepted the changes and seated us as a party of five (odd number) without a problem. The wait staff was numerous. They took care of us and made suggestions that were fabulous! Fist off - try the Murg Makhmal-E-Zafrani! This is chicken breast marinated in an... More

I visited The Indian Garden looking for Indian food in Chicago with my family. Upon arrival it was difficult to know where the reception desk was so took a while to be seated and even then there was not smile or personality from the host. We got water to the table quickly and this continued to flow throughput the night.... More

Staying in Streeterville

Neighborhood Profile
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
