I learned about Vosges Chocolates last year when in Chicago. As I was walking through the Shops at North Bridge Mall, across from my hotel, I saw a Vosges Chocolates store and had to stop in. What I loved was that they were sampling some of the many wonderful treats that they sell so you can taste before you buy.... More

I love their chocolate and luckily they are sold outside of Chicago. When I moved away from Chicago, I was worried about not being able to get them. Luckily, I've found them at many grocery stores. Go try them right aways if you haven't yet.

I cannot say anything more than amazing. By far the finest chocolates you can buy. What a great place. I visit every trip and stock up. If you haven't tried it you must.

Vosges is expensive but has wonderful chocolate. My favorite are the chocolate covered marshmallows but everything in the store is amazing and they offer samples as well.

If you love chocolate then this is your place. It is pricey, but it's worth it. Chocolate bars were around $8-10, caramels around $10, and truffles a little more. The flavors are unique. It really is haute chocolate.

We stopped in to get some dark chocolate. Vosges offers a fascinating selection of unusual flavor pairings in their chocolates - bacon, chili, edible flowers, etc. I really enjoyed their hazelnut truffles. This isn't the place to go, if you are a purist who wants good chocolate offered straight-up, with no additional flavors in the mix. But for the more... More

If you are a chocolate lover or are in need of a gift for one, please take home a piece of Chicago. The packaging, the quality of chocolate and even the store are all wonderful. They are our go to place for house gifts. Want a sample just ask! The staff are great and very knowledgeable.

For unique, specialty chocolats made in Chicago, they can't be beat by Belgium, or elsewhere. The owner studied how to make chocolat in various countries; she now combines wasabi in some, bacon in others. Also, Aztec hot chocolat is sold, but don't drink it like Montzuma or you won't be able to move.

We stopped by Vosges Haut Chocolat a little before closing. There are many choices and the staff was extremely helpful and encouraged us to step outside our comfort zone. I am so glad we did! The truffles were absolutely delicious. We also bought bars of chocolate to take with us. Those were also amazing. If you have time, stop by... More

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
