We ate at the restaurant in the basement. Fortunately we were seated in a booth farther back in the restaurant. The first few tables were actually in what seemed like a hallway leading into the restaurant. The food was good, but not memorable. We had...More

We had a wonderful time in this restaurant! The food was absolutely great and the service impeccable. Even when our large group arrived a bit late due to traffic, they handled everything very well. The different courses arrived just when they should, and we finished...More

This restaurant is a Chicago staple... It's decorated like a multitude of Italian villas... All hand painted. Some are very private for a unique dining experience. The food here is excellent, and the drinks are perfectly crafted. I recommend the beef carpaccio... It's amazing! Be...More

Walked here from hotel late one night while on vacation. Very interesting place and a great atmosphere. Food was great. Have been twice now and service second time was very slow but nothing that would keep me away a third time.

Going back to the Italian Village was like going home for the best comfort food you can get. I ordered Eggplant Parmesan, grilled rather than breaded and fried and it just melted in my mouth. The vegetables were well cooked and flavourful. The atmosphere is...More
